George and his crew are an incredible moving team. Before hiring George, movers took advantage of my wife and I by charging hidden fees. George’s handling of payment was straightforward and remained the same from start to finish. He also had plenty of helpful advice about how best to organize the move and knows the area we moved to well. His staff was very friendly and eager to help us out. We will absolutely use this company for every move from now on though hopefully we will not be moving anytime soon.

Excellent experience with this crew!!! George is very busy with many stops so be patient when calling. He was able to come out to North Deering and moved a HUGE hutch in no time! Two movers arrived at the place at 3:00 and quickly/carefully lugged the thing into their 14' truck. By 3:20, they were loading it off the truck and into my living room! Granted the to/from locations were about 1 mile apart. They were quick, professional, and careful. Not a scratch on the hutch. You will not find better movers for the price! Others were asking $300+... George asked for $50. 5/5 stars! :)

I know that Wilson moving has been in business for many years, and have built that business primarily by word of mouth. I worked on a per diem basis for WMC for about eight years. I saw many stunning homes and met a lot of very nice people during that time. Tom and George have worked hard and done well. I give credit where credit is due. The one-star rating is due to the behind-the-scenes stuff; in particular, their propensity to hire men who have criminal histories, or owe thousands in back child support. My own ex included, I personally know of four. My ex still works for WMC so I touch base with DHHS every so often to remind them. It doesn't do any good; George lies and covers for Jay. I assume its a win-win situation; jay works under the table and George doesn't have to deal with stuff like taxes or withholding past-due child support. Over the past 8-9 years, their long term employees have included crack addicts, domestic violence offenders, and four men who are all deep in the hole for current and past-due child support. Put it this way; my ex has spent time in jail for unemployment fraud recently. He stole guns out of a storage unit and plead to criminal mischief. He is the kind of guy who switches tags at Goodwill to get things cheaper. While I detail a small part of my personal experience, it is not up to me to discuss the myriad of other reasons for this One Star rating. A company is only as good as their employees. The following comments are intended as general statements, questionss to ask any company you inquire with. Consider the whole package when deciding who to use as a moving company. Ask if they do criminal background checks or drug testing. Make sure to see proof that their insurance is up-to-date. Moving is costly and can be a very stressful process. If something goes wrong, it will only get worse if the company you hired has let something lapse.
