Had a reservation for a 15 ft. truck I made on Friday before I needed on the next Saturday, talked to someone at the location about a 10 ft. truck because that's all I needed. He told me he thought he had one and he'd call me and let me know. I didn't hear from him so I called 5 times over the week and left 4-5 messages, but no call back.
I drove 3.5 hours to the location to move my son back home and when I got there I didn't have the 15 ft. truck available. The reservation was switched to another location in Bluffton, which was roughly 45 minutes away. I was never notified, no email, no phone call, NOTHING! I was obviously not happy and the guy at the counter basically told me he didn't care and it wasn't his problem, which made me even angrier. I asked him for the owners phone # and he wouldn't give it to me or even call the owner. I called another dealer in Beaufort and he told me they oversold the entire market, which has caused a lot of problems, and he didn't have any trucks either but he at least he answer the phone.
He gave me a traffic phone # and they told me the only one available was in Bluffton but now I couldn't pick it up until 2:30p which wasn't acceptable.
Bottom line is there was no accountability at the Parking Depot and they ddn't care at all. DO NOT RENT A UHAUL from these guys at all! I drove over 7 hours total and didn't get the move done becaause of their error and spent time & money in the process.
Terrible service and attitude! I gave it one star because I had to but they deserve none!
