Poor service won’t answer phone calls

I had a great experience with Jackson Movers. I had shopped around for a while to find the right company and was very happy with the service that I received. If I could complain about one thing was that it took them a little longer than expected for delivery. I didn’t have my belongings for an extra 24 hours than what I had imagined. But other than that everything went smoothly.

We used Advanced Moving Company for our recent move. Jimmy and his men were efficient and polite. They were personable and kept things moving along even in the Texas summer heat. I highly recommend Jimmy and his team in particular for your next move and will be using this company again.

I wish I could give this zero stars. Literally the worst experience EVER. Richard came to give moving estimate prior to our move, and said it would take 3 movers and one truck. Moving day came, we had given a large portion of furniture away from estimate time, and movers showed up 2 hours late. They got to house and one mover talked about how hungover he was and didn’t do anything the entire time. He ended up quitting in the middle of the job. Richard promised all movers worked for the company, however this specific mover picked up the job on Craig’s list the night before. Total lies. When confronted, Richard explained that he had worked for them for a while. ANOTHER lie. My entire family ended up coming over to house and filling their entire SUVs and trucks and helped movers. Even still, we didn’t leave old house until 9:30 to start unloading at new house. When getting to new house, my entire family (10 people) helped unload the moving truck and didn’t finish until 2 am. Guardian movers came back the next day to finish moving out of old house and reassembling furniture at new house. They even tried to fight about assembling furniture after promising this to us. When finished, we found a massive 1 foot chunk out of our nice hardwood bed frame, and a 2 foot gauge out of our wood floors. When called to file damage claim, Richard had the nerve to talk about how horrible my husband and family were during the moving process... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? The only thing this company should have done was be apologizing for the HORRIFYING experience. YES, we still had to pay for the move, and YES, we only got $250 after fighting for the damages. This entire process was a complete nightmare and I would do nothing but tell you to NEVER EVER use this terrible company. Horrible work ethic, horrible customer service, HORRIBLE EVERYTHING.

The team of three arrived at the agreed time and date, without issue. They called ahead to ensure I was ready. They overcame several challenges with this delivery, including rough terrain, low overhead branches,, Texas heat, limited space, narrow stairs,and more! Professional, friendly crew made it happen. Great job!

The half price mover crew was really great. They we’re very careful and very quick. They wrapped the furniture and quickly moved the boxes. They communicated with me on questions they had on certain items. Thank you Again for being very professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend half price movers.

EXCELLENT service, start to finish could not ask for better. From the initial call to the final call and everything in between. The movers were great, the people on the phone were great. Highly highly recommended.

Outstanding service. These guys work hard and quickly to get you the best deal. Nothing was damaged and the move was without incident. Would highly recommend and will use again.

We have had our fair share of big and small moves in the last 25 yrs..12 to be exact. We’ve moved down the street, across the state and across the country so we have PLENTY of experience (good & bad) with movers. That being said, we shopped around and Movers of San Antonio made final cut with our big move and we are so happy we called them to help us today. Edwin, Robert and Edward were AMAZING! They were so kind, efficient and professional...I wish we had used them for our previous move. I would watch them from a far lifting and placing our belongings down as if it were their own..that says a lot about their work ethic and you don’t see that everyday. The value and quality service is SECOND TO NONE..I should know.
