Bessemer Moving Companies 2020

Due to the COVID19 pandemic, I had to abruptly leave my NYC apartment building and move home although my lease was ending this month. I called Imperial Moving & Storage to see if they could pack up all my belongings and store them until I returned to NYC. I spoke to Fernando over the phone who helped set up a crew to go and pack and move out for me. A few days prior to the move out date, they called to confirm everything and were so kind and wanted to make sure everything went smoothly. Ben was in charge of the move and he did a phenomenal job packing and moving everything. From dissembling my furniture, to packing all the clothes still hanging in my closet, he did everything with care and efficiency. They moved very fast and left the apartment spotless. Of course, when you are not present, it can be a little unsettling having someone else pack up all your belongings but I felt extremely comfortable as Ben kept me updated throughout the move, facetiming me when necessary. I recommend this company and crew to everyone! They are efficient, kind, and reasonable priced. I could not thank them enough!

The guys showed up early with enough space and people for our move. From the very start they hustled, I have had movers in the past that took their time, these guys really got after it. I was amazed by the work ethic and attention to detail of New Latitude. I highly recommend!

I tried calling Two Men and a Truck and received no response. I ended up going with Motivated Movers who answered their phone and got my business. Even after leaving a message I never received a call back.

If you want damaged goods with claims that are extremely unreasonable then this is your company. If I could give them a minus 5 I would. They are rude, don't care how late your belongings are and sure as heck don't care about tearing up your belongings. They tell you it takes 4 months to complete your claims and then don't tell you that all correspondence will be via their site. 30 days go by, you don't know that info and they close your case for 'lack of interest' with no appeal recourse. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. I will be reporting them to the BBB. Don't waste your money with iths company as you will be very sorry.I signed a damage settlement almost 2 months ago and still have not received payment.

From the initial call to April in the office to the unpacking by Tommy, Steadman and Jessie, and every interaction in-between, Fortson Moving did an outstanding job during our recent move to South Carolina. They accommodated changes in closing dates as best they could, took great care of our stuff, and were professional all the way. Best moving experience out of many I've made. You are treated like a valued customer. They work non-stop, with barely a break of any kind, and no smoking around your things (I never saw any smoking.) I would use them again in a minute, or recommend them to anyone. They do what they say they will.

We used this company for a commercial move and they did a great job. Very professional and they took their job seriously. They went above and beyond and even corrected my packing. 5 stars!

I had ordered white glove delivery service for an extra $150. Two young kids arrived and had to ask me to borrow a knife to open the boxes. That’s different. No white gloves and they didn’t seem to know what they were doing. They got the bed together and were leaving so I went back to look at it. Stains on the side of the upholstered bed frame so I refused it. I saw them load the bed back in the truck like it was firewood. They were supposed to have open the boxes at their warehouse and inspected it for damages which apparently they did not do. I was scared having them in my house.
