The second time I needed to be moved (from one office to another), I opted to go with a moving company with good reviews instead of shoddy ones (see my other review of a local flakey mover in town to avoid). These guys were on time and ready to work hard! Trust matters and I highly recommend them.
As of this point we are pretty unsatisfied with our experience with Sedona Moving and Storage. I originally thought I did myself a big favor by working with a local company who could do everything, vs a national chain that seemed full of potential risks and failures. I happily opted to pay slightly more, which I was warned about well ahead of time, in the belief that it would be well worth the superior treatment my belongings and I would receive vs another company. Well.. several months after we initially have started working with them, there are SEVERAL things that have gone wrong, and not been resolved! This includes damaged pieces, (easily totaling over $600 if I had to replace everything right now), and even one of my (expensive, and large!) items being left behind! When I called to notify them, the very unconcerned office staff simply told me they would, 'let the owner know,' and that is the last I have heard in well over a month, and that I will have to 'wait' until the next time they are up in my direction to receive my item, no compensation, (time-frame!), or apology given! It's disappointing for sure, especially after being essentially harassed over other petty details that truly had nothing to do with our move. At this point I couldn't really recommend this company to anyone, and even with all the 'risks', I think you are really better off with one of those big chains.
It did take a lot of stress of to have movers do everything. They did a good job moving all our stuff from Ash Fork, putting it in storage and moving it in to our new home in Chino Valley. A couple pieces got damaged, but they did give us a fair amount for the damage. They weren't perfect, there was a cup of cat food in one of my boxes (we do not own cats), not sure where their storage place is. Although, they are well-priced, willing to travel, offer storage (if your move is not immediate) and hardworking.
We just moved from Atlanta to Flagstaff and used Moving Management. We picked a moving company in our new town and the town we were leaving. Thom, the owner, assured me we would be handled professionally and that his pricing was firm. The move went great and came in slightly less than quoted. Our Driver, Lenny, was great and did everything he could to make it all go smooth. Dorothy, our coordinator, kept us up-to-date on everything. We have moved 5 times for my career and this was a great move. We recommend Moving Management!
Moving is nerve racking enough, but A-1, Ken, Brad and Company were awesome moving my parents to Montana. Nothing was broken on the long journey. They are professional and flexible to your needs. I can't say enough about how great they've been!
