Victor, Rueben and Steve showed up and did twice the amount of work they were originally planning on without any hesitation. Kind and very respectful hard-workers. They treated my belongings and both homes with care and didn’t waste any time!

North American Van Lines provided superb service and accommodated a last minute shift in delivery location without any problems. The movers were very friendly and took much care with some fragile artwork. They were outstanding!

The property is nice and in a decent area. Units are priced better than most others in the area. The big consideration for me was that the manager was very personable and not pushy. She made me feel like this was the best place to rent without having to say it.

Ridiculous expensive

I had an extremely bad experience with uhaul and wouldn’t recommend renting a truck from uhaul or doing any kind of business with uhaul. They don’t care about customers and even when they’re at fault they still hold the customer responsible.

The day before my rental, the pick up location was changed from a larger Uhaul rental in McKinleyville to a smaller facility in Eureka. When I arrived to pick up my rental, I was waiting for 20 minutes before a staff member came to the front counter. I was then told that only a 10 foot truck was available to me, even though I had reserved a 15 foot. The single staff member began to check out the next customer on the register next to mine, and told them they could have a 15 foot truck. When I protested, since I was there first and had put in a reservation, I was told a 15 foot truck was not available to me because this other customer was an 'in town' rental, and I was using my rental to move to the next town over. When I asked if I could pick up a 15 foot truck from the original pick up location, I was told 'we don't have the staffing for that.' This forced me to take a smaller truck, which caused me to take an extra trip, and I was charged $46 in overage miles as a result.
