Moving long distance (NJ to Fla) and hiring a mover is very stressful. First time ever writing a review, but I think this company and their employees deserve one. Neta was so great with returning calls and emails with me throughout this process Movers showed up on time and packed our items like they were their own. Delivery to Fla was inside the of estimated days of arrival without any issues. I would recommend Lift and Shift to anyone who is moving.
I hired these guys before and their performance was decent, although their equipment is poor.
This last time turned into a fiasco.
I hired them to do a move for me. They had to delay a week to have their truck fixed. The seller of the item I wanted them to move for me was not happy with that, but agreed to extend by a week.
These guys said their truck was fixed yesterday and agreed to meet me at a time and location with their repaired truck and a team of 3 movers. They confirmed it with me. So I went to the location to meet them and have the refrigerator removed from the seller's home, as we had agreed.
They never showed up. They left no message about being delayed or canceling. They did not answer about 10 phone calls on the head guy's personal cell phone, did not reply to a similar number of text messages, and did not reply to e-mails asking them if they are coming. I waited there with the seller for 4 hours. The seller had to get the refrigerator moved then so that they could take delivery of their new refrigerator—and having that in place was important to them given that they have several toddlers.
I have never heard anything back from 'Douglas.' I don't know if he went out of business, got severely ill, or just flaked as an unreliable and incompetent service provider.
I would avoid this 'firm' and hire a professional moving firm for all of your moving needs. These guys are not serious, not adult, not responsible, and not reliable
I wish they had a better response record. I have tried numerous time to reach them with a followup request after doing a moving job for me in May 2021 with absolutely no success. I wonder if anyone still works there.

I used the college hunks on 2/11 and 3/4. Both experiences were helpful and courteous. Caleb and John on 2/11. Robbie and Edwin helped us on 3/4. They all worked carefully and completed everything we needed in a timely manner. Will recommend to friends and family.
I’ve used FP&D several times. Most recently to empty a storage pod. As always, they were wonderful! Love working with them and will continue to hire!
When I walked in it really smelled like a cheap motel. The beds and pillows are not comfortable at all. Been here for 3 nights and have not had a full nights rest yet. Feel like I wake up every 45 minutes.. now the breakfast is ok. They really need to update their furniture.
