He was able to give me an accurate quote just by looking at Zillow pictures—which is unheard of. Not only that, but he was upfront about costs, worked with me on scheduling, and delivered exactly what he promised—no hidden fees, no surprises. What he quoted is exactly what I paid. That kind of honesty and transparency is rare in the moving business.

I actually got a quote from another moving company that claimed to be local, but they were not—they were actually based in Modesto and tried to charge me $4,000 more than what Workhorse charged due to mileage fees to and from Modesto. Our Sonora home was a two-story house with narrow stairs, and they hustled hard to get everything loaded in just 2 hours. And this wasn’t a small move—it was a 3 bed, 2 bath, 1,300 sq. ft. house packed with furniture. They tackled those brutal stairs like pros and made it look effortless.

Not only did they deliver everything to Roseville in a single day, but they also disassembled and reassembled our large custom bed frame and couch without a hitch. These guys didn’t just move our stuff—they handled everything with care and professionalism.
