We used Spartan Moving Systems for our home move.
The team was friendly and cooperative. They showed up on time and finished within the time frame we were given. Nothing went missing.
HOWEVER, THEY LEFT NUMEROUS SCRATCHES ON OUR FURNITURE (see example in first picture). I contacted the office and they sent someone to inspect. We showed them the scratches and we were asked if we were certain they did not preexist. Of course we were certain and we showed them a large mark on the wall right next to a bed they assembled (as in the second picture) in our freshly painted new home, as further evidence of the carelessness of their team.
What went wrong? As I later realized, they had temporarily stacked pieces of furniture one on top of the other at the new place, without any cushioning or other separation to protect the surfaces; and the chairs of the dining set had marks, where one would expect if they were placed one inside the other in the truck! Terrible! So much for the blankets they used..
After the inspection, we were told we would be contacted soon, as they had to make internal enquires. We heard nothing and had to call them after weeks had passed. In the end we were offered a discount which we did not accept. What we were after was a restoration of our furniture. They then gave us their insurance details and finally, after months had passed, we received from the insurance $246, which we thought was a joke!! Do what with it? Repair which piece? Their insurance covers losses by weight, which may be standard practice in the industry.
I do not blame the team as much as the management. It would appear that they received no proper training. The crew did not even stop for lunch, which I think is irresponsible from the management. I offered them quick lunch as well as plenty of water throughout the day which they appreciated. They got tired in the end and left several boxes, marked for certain rooms, in the garage. We did not mind that. We could move the boxes ourselves. They would still get 5 stars. But the scratches on our furniture is indefensible and unforgiving.
Worst delivery service - spent two weeks unable to fulfill requested weekend delivery and then cancelled delivery time last minute. Would stray clear of them at all costs

Johnny took excellent care of me today. He was very patient and showed me three different storage units. After a short discussion I decided on getting one of the units. I feel that having more space is definitely nice, but the excellent customer service sells itself.
Wonderful crew that worked hard and did a great job! Communication was great and everything went very smoothly! Would hire again!
Tim and Jennifer were very helpful with the entire process! We got a bigger space for our storage unit. Jennifer went up and beyond making the process smooth from closing the old account and getting a new one. The public storage app made it easier access for me…which is a plus. And the storage is also close to our place-which is an added bonus!
WORST COMPANY EVER!!! Packers came 4 hours late. I previously contacted company and sent photos with dimensions of everything I was taking. They ended up charging me more because apparently they didn't allot for the amount of items I was taking. Things were packed that shouldn't have been packed. Upon delivery they wanted money up front, tried ti charge more because they claim that just because they are in a semi truck it won't fit through the gates. I explained to them that fire trucks get in here, bigger trucks were in here to build these homes, etc.. then charged an extra $60 but I have an elevator..WTF. Once getting my items, several items were damaged and dinne plates were broken. Not to mention,
I packed 2 rooms myself with no refund and did it faster than they did...WORST EVER!!!
