The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Storage units were readily available. I was able to look at various sizes, make a selection and rent the unit. The entire process was seamless and took less than 20 minutes. Overall it was a great experience.

My sister, Jane, bought a utility shed from Cody Trent a couple of years ago. She got great value for money, they delivered it on time, and it had held up to the weather since day one. We are very satisfied with our purchase from Cody Trent Buildings.

From start to finish, reservation over the phone, pick up and drop off, everyone involved was courteous and professional. I had my rental and was on the road the fastest I've ever been.

On September 12th 2024 Shaw's moving truck was moving our new neighbors across the street and left the nose of the truck sticking out in the road. Sure enough somebody hit my mailbox knocking the lid off and my mail in the middle of the road and it was pouring rain out. I noticed it because I saw the lid on the ground so I went out to investigate. The driver came out and said yes I saw somebody hit it and kept going. I asked him why he never called the police or even knock on my door to inform me and he said it was raining too hard. I took pictures and called the company to inform them. After an hour they called me back and said they weren't responsible for the damage even though it wouldn't have happened if their truck wasn't sticking out in the road. I am a disabled veteran living on a fixed income and now I have to buy a new mailbox and pay someone to put it up for me. I feel they should have taken responsibility for it and they didn't even have any orange cones or anything to warn people. I certainly wouldn't trust a company like this to move my cherished belongings! You might want to think of another company!

My move couldn't have gone better with Ryan, Nick and Jared. Best crew ever. They arrived as scheduled and got right to work. No dilly dallying. Did exactly as I asked. I even added a stop to deliver something to my son's house and they didn't bat an eye. They were all very polite and might I add herculean! These guys are strong and very careful moving stuff. Never bumped a wall or anything. Nothing was broken or scratched. Highly recommend!

It has taken me a while to post these comments as the owner, had promised to make things right, but that has not happened.
In December I hired this group to move me one block. They gave me an estimate of approximately $4,000 but in fact the move cost double that, and with NO warning. It started off well but QUICKLY went downhill. Remember I am paying by the hour. The movers would engage in random small talk, therefore running the price up. Walk out on my dock, and admire the views, Took time to look at my new truck and ask many questions. One guy would dance down the stairs, carrying a single broom, I'm guessing the move of that broom was $60.00 I could buy a new one cheaper. This was common practice. Unnecessarily pulling part of furniture apart so the hours would run up. I even bought lunch for them, gave them water, snacks, etc.

Now lets get to the bigger issues. BROKEN items galore. Chipped a Green Egg, destroyed several pieces of art. Used drawings as packing paper. Used a $500 jacket as packing material, and so on. The list of destroyed or damaged items is too long to post here. When I contacted the owner, he said sorry. And offered to refund me $200. WOW that would not even make a dent in the costs I will incur to repair or replace my items.

Furthermore, I was promised the $200 the next week. GUESS what I still have not seen it nor anything else. The owner stated that it was a bad time of year, and funds were tight. A business that is run so tight that they could not afford $200? PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
