We packed our own goods and had a quote for the exact volume needed on the truck. The people who made the estimate were great to work with. The people who put our goods on a panel truck because the semi trailer wouldn't fit in the development were great to work with. We were told we would have the ability to track our shipment from Virginia to Oregon. That never happened. After missing the entire delivery window the moving company told us our shipment was delayed another week. When it did arrive, many of our boxes were damaged and thirty were missing. Upon investigating we discovered that our wardrobe boxes were opened at the transit hub and stuffed with thirty smaller boxes. Furniture was damaged and when I pointed this out to the team shifting the furniture off the truck the driver attempted to repair our furniture with super glue, without asking for our permission. All of this was brought up in the claim and the company pushed back against all of it, even saying that we had asked the driver to repair our furniture. This company uses both Mayflower (the company we requested the quote from) and United (the truck it was delivered in). If this is how these brands care to be represented, they will not have my business again.
