Be sure to read your contract very carefully. They can and will raise the rent. Even if you pay everything in advance it doesn't matter. They'll draw you in by being nicey nice to your face and then 6 months later congratulations your rent is increased by $50. They only contacted me via mail as well, probably in the hopes that I wouldn't get the rent increase notice so they can auction my stuff off.

Stay away. Good luck finding a reputable storage facility period, they're all scum.

If I could give it zero stars I would. This is a terrible company, I was at this site well before public storage acquired it, and it has gone downhill ever since. For reference I had a 5 x 10 sized unit, and they raised the rent on it twice in a two year period to almost $300 monthly. I moved to another climate controlled unit in town and now I have a 10 x 10 for $120 a month, let that price and space difference sink in. That's not all, there is zero in the way of customer service, staff at the front, or even people to pick up the phones. Instead you get the run around of nonsense automated answering machines, yet they build their policy to require 7 days in advance of moving out. Here's something else, if you move out on the first, they charge you for the whole month, zero prorating. It's an open and shut racket operation. They do not care about their customers and only want to milk as much money out of you as possible.

This is all not even going into the zero maintenance they do on the facility, the condition of available carts, even the elevator certificates for operation are long expired.

If you bring your business here, you will surely suffer for it.

The price is affordable and the units are good. The staff is always friendly. James is always able to resolve any issue quickly. They value customer service.

I was in desperate need and running out of time to move my furniture out so I called “ district moving” they were very helpful and acted quickly they met all my expectations. I highly recommend them.

James and team took excellent care for our local move! They used care with every piece of our furniture and belongings. Having moved many times I did expect some damage but these guys ensured we had none! We are pleased to have supported this local black-owned business! 11/10 highly recommend.
