Allen & Coles did our move from NYC to Maine. The staff was amazing. Punctual, efficient, careful and overall a pleasure to work with. We had a 4 month old baby and a dog and they were unfazed. We really appreciate their work and would recommend them highly!

From Quote to Move the experience with THIS organization has been exceptional! The 3 GENTLEMEN that moved my husband and I were sensational. They were timely, they were cheerful and they were polite. This sounds a bit “cheesy” but I cannot find words to describe how they helped to make a stressful experience less stressful. At times I was indecisive on where items should be placed and without question each of them were eagerly willing to assist. At one point I was moving something and crew chief came over and assisted without prompt. He leads his team of young men with an encouraging and team building method that many should take notice of. We hired Earle W. Noyes and Sons for our recent move from New York to Maine. Andy and Sean were WONDERFUL and helped us load in NY and unload once in Maine. I haven’t stopped raving about how great these guys are at their job. I had been anxious about the move but they made the whole process so stress-free for me and my family. I was so impressed with how hard they worked to move our belongings quickly, efficiently, and so carefully, all the while being so pleasant. My nephew loved Sean’s jokes. A special thank you to Phyllis, too, who was very helpful to us in coordinating the move and was sweet as pie every time I called her with another question leading up to moving day. Everyone hates moving but it was so easy with this company’s help. Thank you, Noyes, for such a surprisingly great experience!

I used Vernay Moving twice to handle local moves for my mother-in-law. First things first: the office staff is courteous and professional, and the moving crew showed up on time, was also courteous and professional. The first move was from a fairly large house to a storage unit that was definitely not designed to hold the entire contents of a home. There was a three-man crew to handle it and I was amazed that they managed to get everything in - without damaging anything in the process. On the second move, a different crew managed to unpack the unit and move it to a new home without damaging anything. This is a family-owned business, and it shows in the way they treat customers; their crews have been with them a long time and so has their office staff. In a world where so many companies are too large and completely indifferent to the needs of their customers - and rotates staff on a monthly basis - good service, like that offered by Vernay, really stands out.

Bridges Brothers recently moved us from our home into a condo. The condo was on the second floor and the truck was not able to park conveniently for unloading. We have several heavy, awkward pieces of furniture that were not easy to maneuver. One heavy piece had to come up the stairs instead of the elevator and yet they managed to get it into our unit without complaint. The crew labored tirelessly and relentlessly to get us moved. They were terrific and even with the difficulty of a second floor delivery, they managed to cut time off the estimate. There was not one scratch on anything when all was said and done. They were considerate and careful and made a difficult move a success. I would not hesitate to recommend them because what they did for us was heroic!

I highly recommend Bisson for your moving needs. From the initial call to Corey, to the in home quote from Preston, to the interactions with staff at the local office (to pick up boxes - that were ready and waiting for us at the door!) to the movers Jeremy and Dave, EVERYONE was friendly, helpful and professional and made this our easiest move. We had a recommendation for another company from good friends who had just moved, but did not receive a call back for 2 weeks and I am so glad. I would definitely use Bisson again.
