In the beginning Paul was very kind and communicated great. I set up a “guaranteed pick up date” & I paid the deposit. I had asked him multiple times if I needed to be present when he picked up the camper and he assured me I did not need to be there. I also sent him multiple photos of my camper so he knew what he was looking at going into it. The day arrives for Paul to pick up the camper and he calls & tell me there are tree branches in the way and it’s impossible to get my camper out. Then he switched it up saying he can pull the camper out, but can’t take liability for my camper if it got scratched by a tree branch and I had to be there in person to take liability or else he wouldn’t do it. His personality did a complete 360. He said he would refund my deposit. He continued to make up excuse after excuse of why he couldn’t take the camper and got pretty rude. I never did receive any amount of my deposit back. Honestly I'm not sure if I got scammed or just caught him on a bad day. Lesson learned on my end & I hope no one else loses money or has the same experience I did.
