Went to go rent a 10×10 unit (J7) and measured it with a taoe measure, it was 8ft4in deep by 10ft wide. I told the desk this and that I didn't want to pay a 10×10 price for an 8×10 unit and they told me they weren't a good fit then. She told me she couldn't reconfigure the units, I wasn't asking her to, but I think you should be honest about the size. She even tried to argue with me before I stated I measured it the correct way. I also looked at some other sized units a week or so prior and noticed that the measurements on other units seemed off too by just walking them out, but this time I brought a measuring tape to confirm the size.
Be sure to measure before renting and look elsewhere because they are falsely advertising their units. I went to a competitor and their unit sizes matched the description for comparable prices.

Edit: In response to the reply, the side that is 8ft long was not the side with the door on it, I measured the wall by the side of the door to the back wall, it was 8ft4in. Side to side was accurate at 10ft. I went to a competitor and measured the same way I did yours and theirs measured 10×10. I know how to measure. And actually the first time I came in I never mentioned the sizing being off to you, in fact, I just left after looking at them and doing a estimation measure with no comment. Today was the first time I mentioned the measurements were off. I just think you should be honest with customers about sizing and encourage people to measure before buying just to make sure they get what they are paying for. Also, the $85 a month is the sale that has been going on for the past month and was not offered in response to my complaint. The 'sale price' of $85 is around the price of the competitors, and the regular $130 is far exceeding any competitor pricing.

Good place and clean because it is brand new but like another guy was saying after a month they will make you go up 40 to 80 dollars on payment , pretty shady if you ask me
