I highly recommend 1-800-pack rat as my long distance move was outstanding All went well on pick up dates and arrival dates no hidden fees and everything was explained to me about charges I want to Thank You for the Excellent Service I received

Pros:
Great drivers, sturdy containers, safe on-time pickup and delivery of our all of our belongings.

Cons:
They don't pro-rate the monthly billing of the containers. Ours were in storage about a week or so and they charged the whole month and would not refund the unused amount. This is not a small amount of money. So make sure you know what you getting charged going in and pay very close attention to all the fees and charges that get applied over time. They also raised the monthly rental rate during our storage.

I even called and talked to someone about a refund and said I would lower my review based on these cons and they said OK.
It's the little details like this that can make the difference between a good and very average rating.

We highly recommend Pack Rat for all moves!! They were amazing to work with both in Ohio & NC.

Drivers were knowledgeable, friendly, and timely! They called prior to delivery and pickup and were on time. The pod may have been more expensive than a storage unit, but for us the convenience was worth the price.
