A-1 Rent All

This company is predatory. Stay away.

I rented a U-Haul trailer on Saturday morning for $39 and was told it needed to be back early Sunday morning (despite them being closed from 5 Saturday until 8 Monday), and that I'd receive a text with after-hours instructions. When I clicked on the text it said it was expired and gave no further info. I brought the trailer back on Saturday evening and left it where I'd picked it up.

I got an invoice Monday morning for $140. When I asked the reason I was told that I hadn't followed checkin procedures. The trailer was in place, required no cleaning, and cost the company no lost revenue. Why would a reasonable company that cared about its customers do this?

I've always had good experiences at A-1. From simple rentals to the wood chipper I just rented, everything has been in good working condition and never let me down. Staff is always friendly as well. If you're looking to rent tools or machinery, check with A-1 first. They won't let you down.

To the owners of A-1 rental your company and your customer service is a waste of time the employees do not listen to a customer when they're trying to explain the situation where the customer is right or wrong they need to listen to the customer instead of argue with the customer and hang up on the customer for no reason I rented a machine from them I rented a dingo the tracks came off of the dingo I don't care how long anybody from running equipment I don't care if you're new to running equipment when you rent a machine you're trying to get the job done not sit there and fix equipment for them they are inexperience they should not own a business their customer service is very poor I do not recommend this company to anybody it don't matter who rents equipment whether you have 10 years or 0 years on equipment they need to take the time and show you how to run it I have ran equipment for many years I have fixed a lot of equipment I'm a mechanic fixing construction equipment do not waste your time with them or your money they do not know how to handle customers or be respectful
