A-1 Self Storage

The office is poorly managed and they never answer the phone. Not even their customer service line could contact the main office. Their system is outdated and it’s just a mess. Do not recommend.

A-1 was A+ great customer service, if we ever needed anything, they were always there to help. Facilities were always kept up, well maintained, with lots of safety features to keep unwanted elements out. Was never a hassle getting in either during business hours and outside of working hours.

Had a unit for 8 years. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Very clean facility. Would totally recommend

Great staff always busy

When I first rented space at A-1 Storage, Evelyn and Kevin were extremely helpful and accommodating. Evelyn gave me a 'deal' in a space with some problems (an A/C duct, the light was 'always' burned out, and it had a small access door). Maria and new management never honored the discount. I don't like a bait and switch.

My rent more than doubled within a few years. (I don't like a bait and switch.) My storage items were absolutely filthy with soot from the A/C system. A bunch of my pictures and belongings were damaged by repeated water condensation from the A/C ducts. I took pictures and showed Kevin, but was never reimbursed for the damage.

My lighting was never working. The bathrooms were cut back to one joint bathroom.

It was very expensive to move out, but I am so glad to be gone.
