A Fazio Moving & Storage

We just did a complicated move with Anthony Fazio's company and it was an extraordinarily positive experience. These people are professional, respectful of one another, of us and of our furniture in a way that leaves me awestruck hours later. This move feels like a powerful confirmation of the wisdom of dealing with small, family-owned and operated companies.

In every phone call setting it up, Anthony was friendly and clear but also HONEST. He laid his cards out about the limitations (because of rush hour traffic, restrictions because of NYC street parking, the dates he had available) and then he showed himself to be willing to do whatever he could to move us as close to our dates as possible. He jokes around too. My sense is that this is a man who has nothing to hide.

On the day of the pick-up, three and a half hours outside of the city, his men showed up a little before 8AM as promised, with everything you hope for in movers: positive attitudes, the physical strength of Hercules, and a confident calm. They treated our furniture and boxes with great care and loaded their gorgeous clean truck in an orderly way that gave me a wonderfully secure feeling.

The week before the delivery to NYC, I called to ask Anthony if we could add a second pick-up on the morning of the delivery to NYC - a nine foot long antique mirror which was not stable in its frame in a walk-up building on a narrow street in Greenwich Village. He didn't get an attitude or hesitate, but went straight to brainstorming how to make it happen.

The night before the delivery, I asked Anthony if they could also pick up (from the walk-up building), four more chairs, twenty boxes, two little tables, a standing lamp and two suitcases. 'No problem. We've got plenty of room in the truck.' I was asking for this when his men would be trying to get into the city before rush-hour and get a spot on the street blocks away from the walk-up building before the parking is all taken. 'No problem.'

This morning the men showed up in their trademark great form, carried out this surprise load of stuff from the walkup and carried it into the new apartment with the same care and discipline and friendliness, even adding felt feet to some of the pieces to spare the floors.

We've moved four times in the past thirty years prior to this move with other moving companies. We've had some good experiences but we've had some pretty bad ones too. No moving experience prepared me to believe I could find the level of service we had with the good people of A. Fazio Moving and Storage. I give them my unqualified and highest recommendation.

I can't say enough about Anthony Fazio and his son, who headed u our move. It was super stressful, but they made it so easy and were very helpful. I had some last-minute schedule changes, and they worked hard to accomodate so that everything was done on time. They took great care of my things and treated everything with care. Highly recommend.

Fazio moving & storage company did a excellent job for us.Adam and Linda kept us informed prior to the move and the men doing the move were professional and friendly.I highly recommend this company.

The best moving company on the east coast! They are the most conscientious moving company whose owners are always on site. Never an issue. I hope I never have to move again but if I do they would be the only company I would trust to do it, and do it right.

This is our second time using A. Fazio as our movers. In our line of work, we move around a LOT. We have learned you need to hire a good company to move your things or you will pay later in damaged items, hidden costs, etc. It is important to note that our company also believes in A. Fazio, because it will accept bids from them over others. There is a LONG track record here to base that acceptance on.

I cannot recommend A. Fazio any higher. Both of our moves with them have been nothing short of incredible. There was a good price, lots of communication, special care taken with our things and a lot of 'bending over backwards' to provide the best service we have ever seen in a moving company.

While unloading our storage unit today, we discovered our last movers (NOT A. Fazio- shame on us), had hidden damaged boxes in the back of the unit where we could not see them until we unloaded 4 month later! Of course, this is now way beyond the time to report an issue. Let it be said we DID already report 3 other issues with that company. ugh. Never again.

But back to the pros. A. Fazio came prepared and treated our things like they were their personal property. They worked quickly and very efficiently to load everything from 2 separate locations into our truck. One of the workers was a 'Tetris' master, as he packed our things securely for the long ride ahead. I tend to be a nervous guy about these kinds of things, but I will not worry about this trip at all.
