I hired A&M due to the recommendations in a Phoenixville FB group but I am sorry to say that my move experience was not good at all. I would not recommend them. The movers showed up with no power tools, dirty/ripped mattress covers, and got mud all over my white couch and upholstered bed (because they moved them off the truck in the rain, uncovered, with mud-covered hands). I literally had to stop them in their tracks to get them to see the mud they were tracking in and getting all over my furniture! Additionally, it took at least two hours (that’s $400 btw) to manually break down and reassemble furniture with hand tools (HAND TOOLS!). Giving your employees no power tools is a great revenue generator when you are charging by the hour! Yes, they sent Stanley Steamer the next day to try to address the mud stains (they did not come out, btw) AND I was charged $1500 for what should have taken significantly less time to move a 2BR apartment less than a mile away. DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!! They moved us from MD to NY state. We utilized their storage service in MD while we looked for a house in NY. When they arrived in MD to move us out they didn’t have the promised wardrobe boxes. They initially told us to fold up all our clothes and put them in boxes! They rectified the situation by going to Lowes for boxes but this added 1+ hours to process. After we purchased our home in MD it was difficult to get in touch with them taking many messages to hear back from them. They are only readily available when seeking payment. On moving in day in NY they arrived 2 hours late. They “ couldn’t find” the headboard to 1 of our beds and none of the screws and hardware to all 3 of our beds. The employee who disassembled the beds in MD had been fired. Wouldn’t it be standard practice to have a designated place for these parts? So none of our beds were reassembled as promised in estimate. We were compensated monetarily but at great inconvenience to us to have to go purchase hardware and reassemble the beds ourselves Many of our boxes were dented and damaged, looking like they were thrown. We had broken glasses, lamp shade dented, a heirloom ceramic Christmas tree shattered and furniture scratched. A complete disrespect of our belongings!! Not to mention as we are still unpacking we are missing a few boxes and belongings. So learn from our mistake and avoid this company at all cost!!!!

4th time using this company and more impressed than before. Crew was awesome
and worked incredibly hard. They were friendly and professional. Julian provided the best service I have ever had with a moving company.
