A & M Movers

They outsource to movers who STEAL peoples ENTIRE belongings! My friends older parents used them- they sent over movers and those movers stole everything they owned after they already paid $1,000’s & 1000’s of dollars. Their entire life’s belongings and memories are gone.

The worse experience with a company that we ever encountered. These people are price gougers and unwilling to answer phone calls or emails. They gave out bogus numbers and never answered the phone and if you were lucky to finally get a call, they basically lied and hung up on us. They were very impersonal and at a point aggressive and mean. They did not follow any of the process that they said they would. They knew they were lying about the whole process. They held my daughter hostage and she went without her stuff for a month after a move across country and they did not take care of her stuff as there was water damage to her mattresses and book shelves. . And doubled the price. DO NOT allow a broker to assign them to you at all.

Picked up my furniture on the 19th in a small truck and drove it from MA to NJ to be loaded onto a full size moving truck. Today is the 28th. I've called at leat 5X for an ETA date. And every time I'm told they'll ask the dispatcher and a call back. I never get a call back. When they see my number they should just play a recording of what they've said to me the last 5X. I have no idea when my furniture is coming. I think it should be reasonable at this point to get an ETA. That's all I'm asking for.

Do not use this trucking company? My good friend used this company to move to Florida. I was helping her with the process the whole time so I know all the gory details. A & M Movers will give you a low estimate without even looking at your space and belongings and then jack it way up. They are unprofessional! They use inexperienced workers that they contract out, not regular employees and rented trucks. They did not even arrive with the proper packing materials. Your belongings will be transferred at least three times before they get to you. Items will be missing and broken. All of her delicate items and art work arrived in pieces. They even managed to destroy her pyrex pieces. And then they will extort an exorbitant payment before they will unload your stained and damaged furniture. Her white sofa looked as if it had been left out in the rain and then run over. Find a reliable company with their own trucks and make sure your belongings will remain on that truck until they reach their destination. Beware of cheap price quotes! Not to mention terrible customer service! If you call asking when your belongings will arrive they get huffy with you. Once you have signed your contract, your sales agent disappears.
