A New Beginning Monterey

I needed a local move urgently and of course, at the last minute. I looked for some companies online and someone recommended A New Beginning. I had already called another company, but they didn't respond fast enough. I have had plenty of moving services, military life, but I have never had such a great experience! Not only did Marcus reply quickly to my request for services, and during a holiday time period when I'm sure people are booked and busy, he quoted a realistic price, informed me about things such as stairs/elevator access that could affect pricing, and he arrived perfectly on time. This service is timely, professional, reasonably priced- and honestly life savers! I would give ten stars if I could. The service was so excellent I made sure to tip! If you need moving services, A New Beginning is a reliable way to go!

Marcus and his team were so helpful, friendly, and professional - I highly recommend and would definitely work with them again! It was my first time hiring help for a move and I am so glad I did. Let me premise this with I cannot speak to the experience of actually receiving moving service from this company! BUT I can speak to the laughably snarky and rude interaction I had when I called about a quote. The guy recited the many different costs very quickly and then proceeded to be dramatically exasperated by having to repeat a single detail after, literally scoffing and being so condescending. Like sorry I’m not the one who works for the company and need some clarification ?? Oh and for a 180 mile move, the quote ended up being $4000, which is crazy. I don’t know if the guy on the phone was having a bad day or what, but maybe talking to potential customers isn’t for him.
