A Plus Chicago Movers

My experience with this moving company has been anything but less than amazing! They had a huge project on their hands due to the fact I was moving from Minnesota to Texas (1,200+ miles away!). And, this was my first huge move. They were great with communication, which really helped ease any concerns that I had. Super polite and their pricing are fair, far better than any other moving company I was looking into! I appreciate their hard work and would definitely use their services again!

Needed assistance loading my apartment into a truck for a long distance move. Was very fortunate to have Al and Chris help for 3 hours. Al must be a Tetris master as he packed the truck like a pro. These guys know how to get it done.

The team at A Plus was just that. They were so nice, great sports about moving in 90 degree noon heat without AC, and treated every piece and detail of the move with impressive care. They were so quick and efficient that every time I turned around a whole new section would be done, and they made the entire process feel seamless (which is saying a lot for a moving day). A Plus Movers helped me with an emergency move that was dirty, complex, and REALLY heavy. I was upset and had to clear out a relative's apartment in a hurry, and without Al and his crew I would never have made it. They accommodated several date/time delays while I got ready. They arrived early, and worked diligently until the apartment was finally empty. I cannot thank them enough for getting me through a difficult situation. Thanks Al.

I still stand by my 1 star rating as this company doesn't need to mislead potential customers into thinking that they run a legit business. I moved from a large studio to a 3 bdrm. It was recommended that get the 2 person team. The movers claimed that they couldn't fit my queen sized mattress into the elevator. The same mattress that me and my little brother moved into the unit without incident. They were going to leave my mattress so my sick boyfriend carried my mattress down 11 flights of stairs expidite the move and became the 3rd unpaid mover. One person was almost a teen and the other was a senior. The older man complained the entire time because I had a lot of books and he said that I should've hired more people. He berated the younger man for the duration of the move. They claimed to accept credit cards but after my items were loaded, they only would accept cash. I didn't have cash so they held my belongings in the truck while I went to the atm. Hiring this company was a rookie move that I won't make again. Afterwards I called several times about my experience and didn't receive a return call after trying for weeks. When someone did answer, they were extremely rude and had no accountability for how their staff treated my move. Moving is stressful enough and they're not worth the headache.
