We hired them to pack and move us but when they arrived over an hour late they claimed we didn't hire them for packing. So, they left.

Their website touts 'No matter how great the challenge – it is our key to success.' They failed miserably in this area.

Their website explains that 'We offer woman-supervised moves to make your relocation smooth, easy and stress-free.' Two men showed up, said it was too overwhelming, and they left. This was the opposite of stress-free.

What a deplorable company and sense of customer service. Never, ever, ever call this company. They are a scam and a half!

I was moving from an apartment and a storage place to a new house. I had them scheduled to arrive at 8am at the storage unit. They arrived 45 mins late with no reason why. This was a pretty big move and I am not sure how to rate the items so I trusted the company to bring the right about trucks. During the first part of the move they kept saying we should have brought two trucks and not one and a small van. When we got to the apartment the four guys seem to slow down a lot taking longer then I did with 3 friends to move into. They also could not get all of my items in the truck so we had to leave a lot of stuff at the apartment. One of the guys asked if we could stop at a gas station to get cigarettes, I agreed but it was not the most direct route to the new house. Which they charged me for the drive time. During the move into the new house they would complaint when something had to go up to the second floor or the attic. They dropped a chest on the driveway which I did not see and was told by a neighbor later on, the only thing they told me was a dresser was loose and they were going to tighten it up a little. After the move was complete at the new house it ran over the time limit so if they went back to the apartment it would and increased the price a lot. So I ended the move and rented a truck to complete the move myself which took until Midnight. The total of the incomplete move was $1200 dollars. We did call the company to voice our concerns about the service. The manager was sorry about the problems and offered refund our $250 dollars once she clears it with her manager. This call was on 11/23/17 and since then I have not received any refund. I even called them 3 times in the month of December and left a message which was never returned. I would not contract this company to complete your move.

My experience was very similar to a previous one. I received a quote over the phone even though I requested that someone actually see what I needed moved. The movers were curteous but obviously not prepared for the 'real furniture' as they called it, which was much heavier than what they were used to moving. After loading the truck, the crew drove it to the new location, but only after they took an hour for lunch. The movers then had to call for more backup movers because they were exhausted and it was getting late. A 4 hour move turned into a 12 hour move, for which I was charged 3 times the quoted price. They did not even take off the hour they took for lunch. I was so tired and emotionally exhausted I simply paid them. Lesson learned: get it in writing first!,

We recently worked with A Woman's Touch Moving for our move and I would caution anyone against using this business in the future. When I called to request a quote, I gave the woman I spoke with (later identified as the 'boss' by the movers) detailed descriptions about all of the furniture and boxes that would need to be moved. On the day of the move, the movers showed up and told us that they would need to bring in an extra man and the job would take nine hours (we were told 3-4) - for a total cost of about three times what we were quoted. Our lease was ending and we had no other options, so we asked the movers just to move the larger furniture items. We had to move all of our boxes and smaller furniture ourselves, and still ended up paying about twice what we were quoted. When we called the 'boss' on Monday, she was unapologetic and, frankly, pretty hostile about the whole thing. I don't normally post negative reviews, but I'm hoping I can save someone else from the hassle we went through.

Update after business's response: All of our furniture and boxes were 'revealed' to the business. This attempt to pass blame for their own error is disappointing, but consistent with the poor customer service we received when we contacted the business after the move.
