We hired this company to move use less then 50 miles. They were supposed to have 4 people to move us, and we paid for 2-days moving, and in that short move, the damaged my Grandmothers Duncan Phyfe Drum table, they broke 2 of the 4 legs, and it can't be repaired. This table has been in my family for over 80 years. It would cost me over $600 to purchase a new base for the table and that ruins the value of the original value of the table. They also broke our 52-inch LCD TV, and our leather couch. But only offered $78 in damage reimbursement because we didn't purchase their additional insurance. So, if you use this company, don't move anything that's worth anything important. Because you won't get anything delivered that's not in pieces. They trash irreplicable items.
We made an interstate moving reservation, then called a couple weeks before to confirm morning pickup. The day before the move, they acted like we never mentioned morning pickup (though we clarified when making the reservation and a reminder call). They never confirmed a time/date and every call I made went unanswered by Tonya.
They completely disregarded 'fragile' or arrows, throwing boxes around. I wasn't surprised when plates/mugs were broken and the couch was ripped.
Also, they said our things would arrive within 7 days of the move and when we tried to get an estimate they never responded until the 7th day- the delivery would be on the 9th day after pickup. Then they increased the charge because the elevator was further then they thought it would be from our apartment. I would not recommend this moving company, extremely awful customer service.
