Review:

Such a great experience. They communicated every step of the way, and they came ready to work with positive attitudes. They were very efficient, careful, helpful, affordable, and went above and beyond. Definitely recommend and if needed, will be using their services again.

I’m not going to shame the whole company. However one of your drivers thought it was smart to try and intimidate me on the road. If it was just me I would’ve just ignored his tantrum and continued on, what made me anxious was my 5 year old child was in the car and was also nervous. I didn’t cut the driver off with more than 4 cars length between me and him but he still felt the need to get right on my bumper and throw his hands out the window as a threat. If I would’ve braked ONCE, my 5 year old would’ve been the victim. This happened today around 4pm on I-44 near the fairgrounds. That driver is going to kill someone someday.

I’ve used them for multiple moves and they do a wonderful job.

The absolute worst movers I’ve ever experienced. Doubled their costs on the day of the move … knowing we had to move that day and could not change. The old bait and switch. Broke items on the move and then would not respond when I tried multiple times to contact them. I believe they are a dishonest business. Will never, ever use them again and neither should you.

Replying to owner’s response (Tim)…
So how did you arrive at an estimated price if you needed a list of items? And why would the price double when we chose to move the majority ourselves or not move it at all…including, refrigerator, 2 sofas, office desk, recliner, washer and dryer, 6 dining chairs, 37 boxes, gardening equipment and tools, mirrors and artwork? (Just a partial list of household items that you DIDNT move). What was left fit in one medium size truck and only one trip of about 7 miles to the new address. You didn’t seem “grieved” when I attempted to contact you about doubling your “maximum” price. We never heard back from you after multiple attempts to contact you about you doubling the price, and items broken during the move. It seems you became “grieved” only when I put it out there for public consumption in the form of reviews. I’m sure you’ll agree it is a consumers responsibility to warn others about what is believed to be unprofessional or dishonest business practices. The only way to “make this right” is to stand by your original estimate which we accepted in good faith. (You know what that is!) and refund the difference. We also accept your offer to repair the broken antique, although it was shattered into pieces and can never be the same.

PS
Just spoke with my wife who says she absolutely “did” provide you with a list. Also just looked at Able movers Facebook page where they promise “exact pricing.” They doubled our price when they got to the new house. (See above).
