Absolute Moving and Storage

If I could leave 0 stars i would. I was moved last August/2024 by this company. They had a new guy helping. He was very nice but very slow. I was charged 300 dollars more due to the extra time it took. I even jumped in and started throwing things off the truck because of how long these guys were taking. I told them we have got to get this done. I spoke to older guy was there in charge and he said well he's new. So what do I get charged extra because their new guy is slow and I get charged for the time it takes.Do not use these guys. When the boss was asked by the BBB he simply stated I didn't say anything about the job going over the time due to his newly hired employee. I guess its ok to go over quoted estimate and time and charge it to you due to a new employee not doing his job. You would think a customer unloading things herself would also be a hint. I said several times we are going over the time quoted. It was due to the new employee barely working. Consumer beware

Flawless beginning. We had a particularly difficult move on a hot day. Charles, Jesse, Ricardo and James were hard working and respectful of our belongings. Not one item was damaged. They were the light in our very difficult day! Beginning to end the best!!!

Had a great experience with them and I would call them again. I normally have rented a Uhaul and hired moving helpers from Uhaul and have been very disappointed by the experience here in NC.
This time I decided last minute to call some local movers and Shawn booked me in the schedule for the next day.
Crew was friendly and professional, they took extremely good care of my belongings. They knew how to load the truck well and worked quickly. Previous movers had dragged out the day which cost me a lot more.
