I used AEY to move to a different state. While on the phone talking about pricing and time frame, the quote i was given seemed reasonable. When the movers came the price they said i owed was much higher than the original price, but i paid it. I moved 2 weeks later, i called the company many times to see where my belongings were and was rarely given an answer other than were waiting on other people to move that way, which was not what i was told originally. I waited for 3 months for my belongings to arrive, sleeping on the floor for this time. When the truck finally did arrive, they had hired people off craigslist to move my belongings inside again not what i was told would happen. After my belongings were moved inside, they had lost some of my items, including my bed. I was told to file a claim for all the items missing and i would receive compensation that way. I messaged and called the company for months with no response about my claim. I even got a lawyer involved to see if that would get them to respond and it didn't. To this day i have never heard from them regarding my claim. Don't use this company, moving is a headache enough without all this added on to it.

NO STARS. Movers Beware. We were literally robbed. They took care of our car and items. The company they hired picked up everything late and delivered outside of the guaranteed days. They didn't bring a ramp to offload the truck, and just dropped our items off the back of the truck. ZERO televisions made it. Not to mention, they told us put important items in the car bc it would get here first. Well, an empty car arrived. Everything was stolen out of it. We are now 30K in the hole to replace everything and they offered us $125. Pure scam. Thats the short version. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. CROOKS.

They didn't tell me when I booked them that they would be contracting another company to actually do the move. That company's movers destroyed my dresser drawers and broke huge chucks off other furniture. And when I called to complained I was told I would 'absolutely not recieve a refund.' I can't believe my stuff showed up like this... I'm devastated and they couldn't care less.

AEY's Better Business Bureau rating is 'F' for a reason. They oversold us on the timeline for our cross-country move and missed the delivery window by three weeks. We paid for packing and unpacking, but we had to unload the delivery truck ourselves. I spent hours on the phone with their representatives and repeatedly gave opportunities to resolve the issue, but they would offer only $200 back on a $6,000 move. They held our belongings hostage while we tried to negotiate an appropriate resolution, threatening to lock it in a warehouse if we did not accept. In response to their many complaints and negative reviews, including ours, the owner makes excuses and blames customers. It was a scarring move experience, and our case with BBB is still unresolved.

An absolutely horrible experience. Communication was awful. Rarely returned phone calls or emails. One phone number offered a recording from a guy named Steve but I was calling Jeff. The moving company they referred me to was just as awful - actually worse. They had 2 numbers to call, one was not set up to receive calls and the other said that it was not in working order. They too did not return emails or phone calls. The movers were not professional leaving me with several broken items. I trust that all my stuff is there. Hopefully I'll never have to move again - if I do, I'll definitely not go back to this company.
