Affordable Movers

They did such an amazing job and they were so fast!!!! Chris and Adam were very nice and helped me get out of my apartment super quick I couldn’t be happier.

Great delivery, guys were amazing. Donte and so sorry I can’t remember the other guy name with him. They were both amazing and very polite and great customer service. Will recommend this company to anyone in need of delivery. Thank you guys.

0/10 they pulled a no call no show on me when I’m 8 months pregnant trying to leave an abusive relationship. I scheduled weeks in advance and on the day of the move no one responded. I do not recommend very inconsiderate and unprofessional.

Absolutely awful experience with Affordable Movers. Their FOH was helpful in getting us scheduled to unload a U-Haul last minute, which was so appreciated and I had high hopes, but that was the end of my good experience with them.

Scheduled for noon, every hour on the hour it would get delayed. I suddenly found myself at nearly 5pm, FIVE HOURS LATER, sitting around still waiting for them. No calls, no texts, no emails, nothing. I would call every phone number I could find for them and nobody would answer, or I’d get sent to voicemail with a “promise” to return my call.

Finally, we found a different mover to help who was quick and prompt, and we called one more time to cancel, and only THEN did we get someone on the phone… just for them to say, “Oh, it was delayed. Did nobody tell you?”

Please, do not hire these people. If their communication skills are any indication of their moving skills… well, I’m just glad that none of their people touched my furniture or boxes.

This company is very unprofessional. We were originally scheduled for 11am, but were told our time was never confirmed, but that they had availability at 12pm as their movers had just finished a job. We were super grateful, as we just moved 1,000 miles across the country and have been driving. Around 12:15, we hadn’t heard anything so we called and were told that “it was a range from 12-1 as to when they could come.” We were understanding and patient. A little after 1, we receive a text that they’re running late, and that the movers were still at a previous job (when we were previously told otherwise?) and now they would be there in “about an hour.” It is now 4pm. We were not contacted with an updated time or plan. Our family from out of town has been waiting for hours with no furniture or a place to rest. Our cat has been locked up for hours anticipating their arrival. We called to cancel our booking as another company was available within the hour, and were told “Oh sorry we thought someone called to tell you.”

We are very understanding and kind people, and can understand mistakes. However, the service and treatment we received is inappropriate and unprofessional. Their yelp is full of reviews with very similar stories. I would not recommend them to anyone that I know. Moving is a stressful time and should not be made harder by your moving company.
