Affordable Movers

Called last minute to schedule and Frank was very accommodating. Movers showed up 30 minutes late, they were very efficient with loading everything into the truck. I gave one of the movers, JP a dresser he said he needed, I later got a phone call saying they left it sitting in the yard. I was told by Drew, one of the movers that they were going to 'stop the clock' because my move was taking longer than expected and the rate was much higher. I asked them to pick up a dresser that they did not get, they were gone 20 minutes and charged me an additional $400 and did not give me a receipt. I called Affortable movers on the following Monday and she assured me she would send someone to get the dresser and they would look into the additional $400 charge and get back with me, no one did. I called again and spoke to Frank, he knew nothing about picking up the dresser the movers decided to leave in the yard. He also said the movers had a different story about the additional $400 and he would call me back, 4 days later and again I have not received a return call. Think twice before using this company unless you have money to give away. So disappointed that honest people are hard to find these days ?

These guys are great, efficient, hardworking and straight to the point. Their was literally a basement and garage full of stuff.. These guys got it done in three hours, Thanks, Frank, Mark, Lee and Luckey you all are very respectful and profesional!! I would reccommend these guys anytime over a big company.

Affordable Movers, despite being on time, were very unprofessional and just not a very good moving experience. First and foremost, the two gentlemen who showed up wreaked of Marijuana. We couldn't cancel the move with an urgent need to move. Second, our furniture was banged up and scratched from the loading to the unloading process. Third, we had to make 3 trips ourselves moving items (30 minutes one way) because the truck they guaranteed was not big enough. Fourth, the movers didn't hook up our washer and dryer, which, being fairly new, has scratches on them as well. Fifth, when we received the bill, it was billed for 6 hours instead of 4 because they charged us for the previous client's job before our move. Finally, we were refunded the 2 hours, but we haven't been comped for making the unnecessary trips along with damages made to our furniture. I do not recommend them at all for future moves.

Lee and his crew did a excellent job! The were very professional and went above and beyond to get my sofa and love seat into my basement. First time using a professional moving company and would use Affordable Movers again.
