Rene and Eddie were great- fast and very polite! I highly recommend them and AQMS for all your moving needs
Rene and eddie are very helpful friendly and great guys.
I had Rene and Antonio move some furniture from upstairs to down stairs. Not only were they fast and professional but friendly and went above and beyond. Highly recommended. I will use them again.
Julian and Renee were very polite and respectful…..AQMS never disappoints… my family and I have used them several times personally and referred them many times over the years and I’ve always had happy results….Casey, Ben and all the team of AQMS are true professionals
We were moving from Pasadena to Valencia and this is our 4th home in 21 years. We were moving from a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath and 2600 sq foot home to a larger home. I googled moving companies and came across AQMS who happened to be based out of Santa Clarita. I didn’t choose them because they happened to be based out of the city I was moving to, but because in the article I read about the top 10 moving companies in LA County and reading the reviews, they had a quick response time and the reviews were thorough. The first step was contacting the company, in which they scheduled a face to face meeting with Dave to come to our home. He explained that he would be going through the home with me room by room and asking what would need to be moved. He had an iPad with an app that had each room, items to be moved and estimated number of boxes. He told me what we should do to expedite the moving process the day of ie. Having boxes labeled where they would go, wrapping picture frames etc. He provided an estimate of how many pounds of “stuff” we had to move which was 13,000 pounds! He wasn’t wrong. He estimated 3 trucks with 9 movers! Again, he was not wrong. We texted back and forth with quick questions and answers over the course of the following 2 weeks. What I appreciated was the estimated cost. They charge for the miles to the old house and to the new house and per hour. The movers arrived 10 minutes before their start time of 8am with the 3 trucks. They have done this many times before and have a very tight process with trucks in line of anticipation and careful not to block the street for your neighbors. They had ramps to cover stairs, steps and curbs to make moving dollies smooth and quick. Each of the 9 movers had roles and responsibilities. Laying down moving pads, wrapping boxes, loading, disassembling beds and furniture etc. Each mover was extremely respectful, courteous and treated our stuff as if it was their own. They knew we have a 15 year old cat and made sure he was safe and secure.
We arrived at the new house and did a quick walkthrough where the lead mover put up blue tape signs labeling each room. Same process of putting down ramps, pads to ensure smooth loading. They took care to remove any waste, tape, and trash with them as they worked. They offered to help move furniture around. Most importantly, they took an official break all together and notified us. This tells me the owner of the company is following labor laws, but also ensuring his movers are taking care of themselves. The total move went from 8am to 4pm. The estimate Dave provided was pretty spot on. The total came out just a smidge under the estimate. I will say something that was disclosed and helpful was the wardrobe boxes they assembled for us to place our hanging clothes in. If they leave those behind for us to unpack, there is a charge of $10 per box. Once you return them back to the office, they reimburse you. I had a friend come over and unloaded the 10 + boxes for me so they could take them back. There are no “undisclosed or random” charges. I was impressed how accurate Dave was from the first day to the moving day.
The teamwork with this group of movers was outstanding. They were thoughtful of our home and our family and with each other. They knew each other’s strengths and asked for help. Nothing is perfect, but this move was pretty close to it! Thank you AQMS for creating an environment which is acknowledged and appreciated.
