Buyers Beware!!!!!!! Do not Rent from Affordable Storage Guys at the Morgantown Road location in Bowling Green!!! Their Climate Controlled Units are NOT climate Controlled! The sole purpose for paying extra for a climate controlled storage is to protect your property from damage and make sure the insurance coverage allowances will be covered! A non -climate controlled unit was flooded several times and they ignored it, pretending like it didn’t happen. They did not even check to see if my Climate Controlled unit C60 was impacted even though the one next to me was flooding on the regular basis when it rained, from what they told my insurance investigators. State Farm Renters insurance will not cover my damaged property because the damage was due to rain water flooding in the non climate controlled units. I have spoken to the Manager Mallory and was told to email her Supervisor but their emails seem to be unreachable, how convenient! This storage company is liable because they are renting storage units under false pretenses. These units are not Climate Controlled if water can enter from another storage unit. I thought I made a knowledgeable decision when renting a climate controlled storage because my Insurance agent and I took time to comb through what’s covered. I figured a climate controlled unit would not be affected by water because there’s no plumbing and the units are set up to be safe from wetness or climate unless something destroys the building its self. But those units are connected to non climate controlled units that are not sealed and no one cares. They will expect you to walk away and be responsible for replacing what they allowed you to lose because of their lack of integrity or care about what they are offering to paying consumers. Purchasing the property and not realizing is not an excuse! I am not pleased and do not appreciate how I’ve been handled by this company. I moved out of state and discovered the flooding when moving out of the Storage when I returned. The storage had flooded and dried several times in a 2 year period! I had damaged furniture, mattresses and boxes that fell apart when we tried to moved them. When the boxes were opened the contents were molded. Full boxes of expensive towels were covered in mold!!! I have decided not to go away about my loss that I suffered!!! Since they are ignoring this situation, I am going to sound the alarm so no one else has to experience this horrible atrocity! I want this made right, recover my loss! I will not go away!
