I am estatic. I have used many movers in the past. AK Movers won me over. They came on time, were curtious and clean. They moved my space in less than 2 hours and packed it in storage. I cannot recommend AK Movers more highly! While living in Virginia, I was offered a position more than 1 700 miles away, but I had to relocate on very short notice. My husband and I had both sold large homes previously and had combined our possessions in a small apartment and storage unit. We had furniture, art, my candle business equipment, my sewing hobby equipment with three machines and a serger, a complete home office with filing cabinets and desks and printers and office chairs. AK Movers not only packed everything we owned in one day (filling an entire moving truck to the top) but also delivered it to me in FOUR DAYS. (We chose to do a direct move.) Art and his crew unloaded everything in a few hours at my new home. We had enough furniture and household goods to fill a two-car garage and several rooms in the house and NOT ONE THING WAS DAMAGED. Furniture was put back together quickly. The entire crew was professional, courteous, helpful, and understanding of our wants and needs from start to finish. I would use AK Movers again in a heartbeat. It's saying something when the easiest part of a move is the moving company. There was honest, up-front, flat-rate pricing with no surprise fees when the company delivered my household goods and no high-pressure sales tactics. Art has a professional crew and was wonderful to work with. Five stars for this company. You can't go wrong with this company.
