The movers were great. On time. Careful with my antiques. Worked fast. Highly recommend them!

It all started with Jerry Durham, who was very professional, thorough, responsive, and friendly. We needed to move our mother's furniture & belongings from Oregon to Ventura and Jerry arranged it. He walked us through the estimate to make sure we understood all the costs, insurance options, etc. We noticed some negative reviews from customers who were surprised at final costs, and can't help but wonder if they didn't take the time to ask questions and understand the process up front. A cross-country move is a daunting undertaking due to the many unavoidable variables, so it's important to understand all the variables from the beginning, and we couldn't ask for someone more clear, thorough, and honest than Jerry.

The driver, Luke, was friendly, professional, and was an excellent communicator. His helpers were careful with all the furniture, which arrived without a scratch. Before choosing Alex Moving & Storage, we got estimates from competitors and they were all higher, which confirmed our decision. The final cost was exactly what was estimated - it was a guaranteed price and we didn't need any extra services (extra stop, waiting time, etc.). The overall experience was smooth and professional, making a hard move as easy as possible. We would not hesitate to recommend Alex Moving & Storage to others.

Jerry gave me the estimate and he was very patient and accommadating with me. The packers, driver and delivery crew were awesome! The only problem I had was the damaged items that I had from the delivery. The front office, Jazmin, was quickly to take my payment, but never reimbursed me for the damaged items. She is hard to get a hold of unless you need to make a payment.

North American. What I liked, were the workers. That's it! Alot of money. For me to pack up just about everything ($21,000+). Give the driver an extra day for the holiday. Knowing that the driver needs to drive, ya would think to check his rig, right? The driver arrived another day late, then the fun starts; the driver calls and outlines a start time. 4+ hours later he shows up (Emailed the firm.Nothing until the driver shows up).Still assessing broken, missing, things that were taken apart by the trucking firm on the other end and left apart on my end; not to mention the 2 hour fiasco to find an infamous 'parts box' that the driver should of had full control over. NEVER again! Worst move ever (this is my 9th)!

We had a fantastic experience with Alex Moving and Storage on our recent move out of California. Jerry was responsive and thorough with preparing our quote, and the entire Alex team was great, from the packers, the loaders (who stayed late to finish a long job) and unloading team (who were cheerful during a storm and even with extra requests to reposition furniture), and our drivers, Joe and David. They were consistently careful with our belongings and our homes, our truck was actually able to be delivered ahead of schedule (for which we were grateful), and even with long, tiring days, the guys were pleasant and helpful.

This is our second cross-country move with Alex Moving and Storage, and I would highly recommend them for any move. They are the ultimate moving professionals.
