All My Sons Moving & Storage

Aly Jean-Louis from All My Sons Moving & Storage 'saved the day' when another junk removal company I initially called rescheduled my appointment last minute. He showed up within an hour of calling, had a great attitude and worked very efficiently.

I honestly was a bit skeptical when they only sent one person (Aly) for the job. However, I was very impressed how easily Aly moved my washer, dryer and 2 air conditioners by himself.

What sets Aly apart was a positive attitude and willingness to do whatever necessary to get the job done. Sure, any moving/junk removal company can send workers to do a job, but it's not often that you get top notch service WITH a top notch attitude.

It's because of Aly's service that I'm considering using All My Sons Moving & Storage for more services as I'm doing major renovations on my house.

***Update***

Aly returned today with his partner Kyle Milette to pickup my fridge and heavy air conditioner. They did a great job maneuvering the fridge down a narrow back stairway at my house. It was pretty difficult at first but Aly & Kyle came up with some really creative strategies to finally get the fridge out. They even swept the stairs once they finished. These guys worked really well together and went above & beyond to get this difficult move complete.

If you're next job requires more than one mover, ask for Aly & Kyle.

Worst moving experience!

When the movers originally showed up, things started well- they wrapped everything up for about an hour. Then, they started to slow down and goof off. We were staying out of their way until a few hours had passed, and we went to see how everything was progressing. Then, we noticed all of the damage they had done to our apartment! They put a hole in a door, marked up walls, and caused some big gouges. We complained to the head guy, and he apologized and told us to call the main office. We did, and the manager there didn't care at all. When they finally showed to the new house, we asked them to be extra careful, but they still managed to break our screen door by trying to shove a couch through it. Over all, they took 2-4 hours longer than was quoted, and we had to baby sit them the entire time.

We went through the claims process, and it was terrible. We lined up contractors and got quotes, as the claims people requested (and had to take off work and drive 2 hours to the old place to meet contractors). They caused $2178 in damage and caused us to lose our security deposit. When the claim finally went through, they offered us less than half. It took days of calling to talk with the claim adjustor, and when we finally were able to speak with him, he said he made up an arbitrary number for reimbursement because he didn't think he should have to pay to paint a full wall- just all of the marks that were made. We explained that the wall would look polka dotted if it wasn't painted, and he said he didn't care.

Overall, they were slow, inconsiderate, and cost us thousands- between the damages they caused and the extra time they took. I wouldn't have minded the extra time if they actually took care of my stuff. Worst move ever! Do not use them!

Hector and Thomas helped with moving us on December 1st. Called before they arrived, and told us exactly what to expect. They were extremely respectful and professional. Very quickly and efficiently helped us pack. It was a huge move, and they got every single part of the move done as quick as possible. Even helped us find a good storage space where they made sure everything arrived safely, and accounted for. Hector and Thomas made our move happen more efficiently and quickly, we couldn’t have moved all our stuff on our own. Highly recommend hiring them for when you need movers. My mom was nervous about hiring movers as a single mom, but they were extremely supportive, professional, respectful, and helpful with the whole move. We basically consider them part of our family now.
