Horrible unprofessional service I did not receive.
I call yesterday morning, had appointment scheduled for a 1:00 move.

They called to tell me it would be hard to do my move when I was already scheduled and they had my deposit. I waited six hours. Still no move. So I canceled after emailing, texting and receiving 2 calls that they would be there in 30 minutes.

They wanted to move my things in the dark. 1 pm appointment turned into 6:58 pm cancellation.

I called this morning to speak with a manager and the same man got on the phone. Horrible company!

Tim and the 3 gentlemen working with him were AMAZING! They completed the move within 2 1/2 hours. To be clear the movers are getting the 5 star rating. My experience with home office and the supervisor is a 3 star. My complaint is with the supervisor (Alex) that confirmed my move 3 days prior. He quoted me for 3 movers but when Tim (the driver) called the morning of he said we needed 4 movers to get the job done efficiently and it would be an additional $50 on top of the hourly price quoted. My suggestion to the company is to have the driver call and go through the list of what’s being moved since they are the ones moving and can give a better estimate. I know it’s an estimate and there are variables that you won’t know until you arrive at the location. However, I’d rather have been told up front what would be needed to have the move go smoothly rather than have to make a decision at the last hour. Quote me the minimum AND an estimated maximum amount so I can prepare and budget accordingly.

We hired All My Sons for our move from our duplex apartment in Seymour CT to our new house in Seymour CT. During booking via phone, we were asked about all of the items to be moved, were quoted $139 an hour, and told that we would need two men and it would take approximately 2-3 hours. They told us travel would be $139 and that there would be a fuel cost which we accepted. They reached out via text shortly after and offered free kitchen packing. I specifically asked if this would increase the time to move and the rep via text said it would not increase the time as one guy would move small items while the other packed the kitchen.

Two people showed up smelling like marijuana, had no sense of urgency, and immediately said a third person would be needed. They got their boss on the phone who confirmed a third person would be needed for an extra cost at which time I stated on speaker phone that I had told them during booking all of the items we had to move and was told only two people were needed. I eventually agreed and told them we would pay for the 3rd person. The 3rd person never came. The two men took 3 hours to pack the kitchen even though I was told via text that it would not increase the time. These two men broke our television and my antique dresser. I called two managers during the day to discuss the time it was taking to move and that it was not what we were told originally, as well as asked for the Claims Department information about the broken TV and dresser. Both said they would call me back and neither did. Overall, it took 9 hours and the job wasn’t even completed.

When it came time to pay the men got their boss on the phone who told us the price now was $3500. My husband argued it down to $1900 however this far exceeded what we were quoted at booking. It was clear this company quoted us low to get us booked and predatorily overcharged us.
