Alliance Moving and Storage Inc

A good friend recommended that I give Alliance Moving & Storage a call for a complicated move out-of-state.
I was immediately set-at-ease about the uncertainty of our move following a prompt call from Bob and then a simple for me, yet tedious for him, packing / moving bid from Nick!
Our 2400 SF move + storage had two destinations - western Washington and Florida. Within 36-hours, I had a detailed bid and suggested schedule awaiting my review.
Following acceptance, Alliance took over. All my wife and I needed to do was answer packer and mover questions of 'what goes where' FL or WA?
To further complicate things, a family emergency changed our FL destination to SoCal ON THE day of our move. A quick call to Bob, and it was handled, with absolutely no drama, yet with total understanding.
I know, TMI here, but when you earn my business, you earn a good review. Whether local or long distance, you can put your trust and valuable possessions in the hands of North Idaho's Alliance Moving & Storage. They're prompt, professional and will serve you at a good price.

There are a lot of great reviews for this company which is why I decided to go with them. However, sadly I would not choose them again. The movers were very nice but that’s not what I hired them for. They argued with each other nearly the whole entire time. One of them did most of the work because the other was pretty unhelpful and, respectfully, slow. He complained about his knee hurting every chance he got which likely caused me having to pay a lot more than I needed to because it took foreverrrrrr with one guy doing most of the work. I was also told in the beginning they would show up at 8:15 but they showed up at 8:30 which you DO have to pay for however much time it takes them to show up and get back to the office. I also was asked if I needed mattress covers in the beginning but whoever I talked to didn’t disclose that a plastic cover costs $20 ? I suppose if you do hire them just let them know you need the crew that moves fast and efficiently because this crew was definitely not it.

On time, good communication, well choreographed loading. Great service.
