Unresponsive, late, movers came unprepared and without knowing details of job, did not post parking permits correctly, brought wrong truck, and then failed to get parking permits at destination as well. Company’s own employees bad-mouthed management. We would never use Allied again for any size move.

This was the worst move we have ever experienced, and we have moved many times. The driver was up front unprofessional and hostile, and several times threatened to walk off the job. He was resistant to using masks, saying “so you are a BELIEVER?!?” in coronavirus (yes). His origin team showed up two hours late every day. They did not have enough padding, so had to search for another team to complete the job late at night. They did not shrink wrap and seal some powdered material we shipped, which created a giant mess. The driver never gave us an origin inventory until we called HQ. He then asked us to sign off on the destination inventory before unloading, which our coordinator instructed us not to do until the goods were unloaded. The driver screamed and ranted agin, then stormed off, and we still have never received a final bill of lading. Finally, he verbally attacked the attendant at our storage facility when they would not allow him to pull his big rig into the tight lot. Now Allied wants another $200 to take the boxes. Ironically, we also had a simultaneous corporate move to Boston with another company at the same time which was professional and flawless. Worst $21k we have ever spent. Stay away.
