So these guys are sponsored advertisers on the top of any Google search for moving (U-Haul, etc). They taught that they are cheaper than U-Haul but they are actually 3 to 4 times as much. Now granted they do most of the work to get you moved and you don't need to worry about anything other than maybe packing boxes. A 400 cu foot pod going 2000 miles will run you $4500. So just do the math from there.
At first the phone call was very cordial and made me feel like a valued customer, but then I was told the pick up date I requested wasn't available and he would transfer me to the dispatch guy to discuss a different date. That's when I realized it was a huge scam.
I talked to the dispatch guy who said 'no, those days are available' and after asking my budget range, he quoted me lower, saying 'you'll never find a better offer.' When I said thanks, I need to talk it over with my husband, he got aggressive. He lowered the price from 4800 to 4200 then 4000 flat- covering all expenses- but I have to pay NOW or I'll lose the quote. I kept refusing and he kept getting more and more aggressive, telling me that 'wives are the true decision makers' and 'why wouldn't your husband want you to save money'. The last straw was him saying 'so you can't pay with your card? Why do you need his approval?' I asked to cancel the quote and he kept trying to pressure me into payment. I hung up. I've met some pretty pushy salesmen in my life but never any that made me feel bad for trying to involve my husband. No 'best deal' is worth that ever. I'd rather pay 5000 for a company that respects my decisions and allows me to discuss options with my family. See ya!! ?

I called to get a quote and the price was fair. However, I will never use this company because of the pushy salesman and the insane amount of follow-up calls and texts I have received. Take a hint. I don't need to be bombarded and will never recommend your company simply because of this.
