Review:

Unfortunately I did not check the reviews on this company prior to hiring them for my big move on Monday, August 8th.
I called Always Professional Moving 3 days prior to the move and at which time I was told they could move me on Sunday Aug. 7th. Ok great.
Then I received a callback 20 minutes later stating their crew had not had a day off in over 3 weeks so they would like to take Sunday off. I was fine with that and stated Monday August 8th would work just as well.
They showed up early at 5:45 am and before I could even ask what their names were, I was prompted to fill out some paperwork 'signing my life away' is what Tyler said. Wow, I have never seen such an enormous amount of paperwork for any company like this one. Initial this, sign that, total of 8-11 pages by the end of the move. It was ridiculous.
Mike, Tyler and Jey were the movers. Within 10-15 minutes of them arriving I was informed that both Mike and Jey had bad histories and were at one time, convicted felons and both had served some time in prison and went on about how the owner is helping them out with a place to stay.
Now, I'm not one to judge but I did find it a bit odd that they would so openly disclose that personal information to a stranger.
The move took from 6am to 5 pm and I was charged $105. Per hour. The entire move Totaling $1255.
I was not ok with that, but what else could I do but pay them. Moving forward, it's now Thursday, August 10th and I've realized I'm missing a lot of my items, I mean ALOT of Items in which I specifically recall seeing both Mike and Jay taking these items into the truck. Well these items are nowhere to be found in my house, garage or any bedroom. I'm missing antiques, clothes, Shoes, family heirlooms, kitchen ware and other various items. I contacted the office and spoke with Bernadette. First impression was not a good one. May I make a suggestion, Bernadette.. enroll yourself into some people skills classes. Your illmannered attitude was not appreciated. I asked numerous questions in which she had no real answers for me, so I thought I'll go down to office and speak with her in person and hopefully all 3 men that worked that day. I met Bernadette in person and asked her more questions re: times of the drivers calling in that they were done and asked for the time in which they actually arrived back at the office. Bernadette had some answers but not all. She was being less elucidative then she was when on the phone. I asked to speak with Mike, Jey or Tyler and was told both Mike and Jey were off today. I asked when would they be in, in the AM and was told the schedule hadn't even been worked out for tomorrow yet. Really? (It was 4pm when I arrived at the office).
When questioning Bernadette about the times, I was told she'd have to go back through the books and check, I told her I would gladly wait there for her to do so, at which time I was told to leave.
I left the office at her request.
My suggestion to anyone considering using this company... If you want to be overpriced and have your items stolen then this is the company for you.
In closing, I will be unrelenting in showing up everyday until I find out where all of my belongings are or where they went. I feel the local news channels and social media network websites should also be made aware of your unprofessional business ethics and thievery.

Review:

Efficient, effective, affordable, and amazing
They were done before I knew it. They moved my hot tub with skids. It didn't tear up the grass or pavers. Nothing was damaged and it was less expensive than I had expected. Note: they did not pack, they only moved.

Follow up: I tried to use them again and was using the google search to look up the number. The first result was the one I used and it was not the right one. The movers that showed up acted like it was the same company, but their paid advertising actually hijacks the actual search results. Hard lesson learned because they sucked and were super expensive. I was willing to pay that price because I thought it was Always Professional. Note to self, make sure you're using who you think you're using...and make SURE it's Always Professional in Moving.

Review:

The three men that came to help me today were on time, very respectful, and helpful! I am very pleased with their service. This is the second time that I used Always Professional In Moving, Inc. Thank you Ramon, Michael, and James for your hard work in moving our washer and dryer and helping us to install them properly!

Review:

I called this company because they were the first one that came up in Google maps. They seemed professional and helpful and followed up on the date. The reason for using movers was because I had to take a an out-of-town trip during the day that the truck was going to arrive and I wanted to make sure that my wife and children were taken care of in terms of the move.

I gave them my credit card information when I reserved the move. We estimated they would use three hours so they charged in advance on my credit card for one hour of travel and three hours of help at $95/hr. The moving company came and unloaded the truck as promised. The move took approximately five hours and upon completion they asked my wife for cash to compensate for the additional two hours of labor. She offered credit card or check because she did not have cash. They insisted that cash was the only type of payment they could take and offered to follow her to the bank. She had small children in the home and this made her very uncomfortable.

She called me out of town and I contacted the owner to try to attempt payment from another method but he absolutely refused to accept credit card saying that he was unable to run a credit card on the weekend. He refused to bill me later or run the credit card first thing Monday morning. He also refused a cashiers check or a personal check stating that their policy was CASH ONLY ON THE WEEKEND - NO EXCEPTIONS. I explained to him that my wife felt uncomfortable having the workers follow her to the bank and that she did not want to leave the kids unattended. The owner absolutely insisted that we pay him right then in cash and furthermore told us that the longer the delay, the more we would have to pay because the work team would need to be compensated for the extra time they spent waiting to be paid. It was clear that the workers were not going to leave until they had cash money in hand!

The owner stated that it is his policy to only accept cash on the weekends and that this has been his practice for the 13 years he has been in business and that they are always clear with the customers that this is the case. But this was not clear to me or my wife and If I had known this policy at the time of booking I would have booked with a different company. Ultimately we were able to get someone we trusted to stay with my children while my wife drove to the bank, got cash, and paid the workers.

In the end, the workers did a fine job and the price was fair but what is most important to me and what disappoints me the most about this company was that they did not take care of my family and put my wife in a difficult situation. They may have told her at some point that only cash dollar bills could be used to pay remaining balances on a Saturday but this was not understood by her at the time probably because it is so unusual for a legitimate company to demand cash only for payment during weekends or at any other time. I'm not sure if they were worried about not getting paid by us or high credit card fees or if the company truly has no ability to accept a credit card on the weekend (which seems crazy because of how easy credit card processors are to use). I even offered to the owner to pay a little extra as a convenience fee which he declined.

My suggestion to this company: GET A CREDIT CARD PROCESSOR YOU CAN USE ON THE WEEKEND.
