American Major Movers

Im late with this. I had my move done June 2022. Unfortunately my experience overall wasn't the best. They were very late, but I didn't mind it. I was only moving from one apartment unit to another on the same complex. There were two guys, similar to another review - one was very hard working and seemed like he'd done moving for years and knew what he was doing, and the other did work , but just didn't seem like he wanted to be there. I got the vibe he was doing summer work or something. The move was to take 3 hours, I think it ended up being about 4. Could be the stairs that were involved - I didn't sweat that - I understood, and they didn't charge for the extra. But what really downgrades my experience was the damage I was left with. They damaged my bed headboard. I was able to finagle it back together with some handyman work, They damaged one of my night tables -- and I could see where they attempted to 'fix' it - I had to finagle that as well. They also damaged a cheap desk I have, but it's cheap and I probably would have broken it too honestly. Lastly, I had damage to my wine cart. Now it wobbles. I didn't bother fixing it b/c the frame was bent. now it leans against the wall. There was just way too much damage done. I didn't bother to file a complaint, didn't think it'd be worth it, but here is the review though. I consider my move to be a complex one due to the stairs, but if that's the case, they should send experience guys to manage those types of moves or else this type of damage is sure to happen everytime.

I won’t even bother to go into detail about how horrible and unprofessional American Major Movers is. They don’t deserve details. I’m only posting this review to warn the public, as in EVERYONE to steer clear of this “so-called” moving company. They are all about money, and have absolutely no clue about what service is nor any interest in serving the customer. Strongly advise you to never use this company I can’t even respond to a customer by phone other text messages. They are a joke, I say they because it is definitely not a company. American Major Movers is the absolute worst!!!!

Typical…selective memory loss when the customer feedback comes back negative. You’re right… I wasn’t a customer of yours Belka furnishings was your customer… I only got involved because you’re incompetent business practice force me to have to text message back-and-forth because you were basically doing a shakedown with Belka furnishings concerning the bookcase delivery. I told you idiots that I was not the shipper during the text message Battle . You’re so incompetent you didn’t even realize you were texting someone that wasn’t even your customer. I highly recommend business 101 for you and everyone who works there. That’s why I said I wasn’t bothering to go into detail because you’re all about money, customer service is nowhere near your concern. You didn’t deserve the details. If you really cared about the customer you wouldn’t have the petty responses online that you do, instead you would consider how you might improve peoples experience. You should be shut down!

This is THE worst moving company you could EVER use in Atlanta. They confirmed one price of 2 movers for 2 hours, asked for a third hour for $100, with a $25 deposit and then wanted to hold the furniture hostage until payment was made or they would take us to court. I had to give one star to write the review but they get a minus 10. The young guy was nice and moved with a sense of purpose. The other fella was not feeling it . However they did the job. If this is a black owned company which I think they are they are the epitome of what not to do. They also don't answer the phone. The person would rather text, very unprofessional company. Horrible horribly unprofessional...also I don't even think the DOT nmber is legit...

Let me start off saying this is by far the worst company to have move your things. I was Quoted for 6hrs when it hadn’t been 3hrs so before they could unload my items it was 635 dollars. The workers stopped to get drinks and then returned to me so I was charged for the time they took to do this as well.. I would never wish this experience on anyone. Please don’t use this company for your move also I had some damage to my washer smh sad
