Excellent competitive rates, hard working crew, efficient and timely. Moving is difficult and stressful but American Movers remained flexible and made some drastic date changes that were necessary for my military move. They went above and beyond to move me across the country on 2 separate occasions. The companies longevity is a direct representation of their hard work and continued success.

On time and efficient

I’ll give them 2 stars only because the crew—of three young people who looked to be about 16-20 years old—worked as hard as they could and were very friendly. The man in charge of the move was very aggressive, condescending and combative particularly towards my wife and particularly whenever she had a question or request about the move. He didn’t want to move boxes that were too small, that were too big, books that weren’t packed in “special book boxes” (we used the boxes we could get, taped securely). He didn’t want to go to our stops (we had two) in the order we requested in our original request (and he didn’t). I could go on with a laundry list of specific examples in which he was rude and unprofessional and given how much we were paying (and paid) I feel particularly disgusted. I brought up these issues with the office manager who I believe is his wife and gave her time to respond—but she didn’t. Moving is stressful enough so I suggest you look elsewhere for your move.

Horrid customer service. Man who runs this company argues with the customer, insults, complains and is very rude. Inefficient—takes twice as long as they should to do a job and that’s if they show up when you ask them to. They’ll cancel on you if they have a better offer or don’t want to work on the day you’ve booked them.
