If I could put 0 I would have. All lies since the beginning because all dates and times and extra fees changed after the quote. Why am I waiting a month to get my stuff when I supposed to start work soon. JUST RUN AWAY FROM THEM. 100% SCAM

Review:

Absolutely excellent service, communication and price. I have used American Way Van and Storage twice. Once for a local move and once for a long haul move. First in their class. The entire team is responsive, service -oriented and kind. Wow!!!!

My experience was a very positive one. Mr Eric Wright was very professional and on point with everything that he said. He was readily available to answer my questions and address my concerns and very prompt to return phone call if I did not reach him directly. ?

Our furniture in all forms was extremely heavy and difficult. On time, respectful of our belongings, and beyond professional. Bravo!

Review:

I had an absolutely terrible experience with National Van Lines and American Way, and I would not recommend their services to anyone. The issues began as soon as the driver picked up my items, after which all communication stopped. Eric, the estimator, was extremely unprofessional, constantly arguing with me and even raising his voice multiple times after my belongings were picked up.

The blankets used by the driver to wrap my furniture were filthy, and many of my items arrived damaged. Despite paying for full replacement value coverage, I have yet to receive any compensation. National Van Lines has been unhelpful throughout this entire process, and their customer service has been nothing short of condescending. It's clear that they have no intention of standing by their commitments.

To make matters worse, the delivery team consisted of two older individuals who complained the entire time and refused to bring my sofa into my apartment. The entire process was unpleasant from start to finish. The company’s behavior feels like a scam, and I would strongly urge others to avoid using them for any moving needs.

Stay away please. Trust me

Responding to the Management’s comment:

I can only speak on my experience and it was not the best at all. It was actually one of the worst experiences ever. The service was a scam to me. What I said can only be defamatory if it was a lie, which in this case, I have proof for everything I am talking about here. This was so traumatizing for me that it even affected my well being.

Regarding the sofa, your drivers lied that it could not fit in the elevator or the corners of my apartment area. I know they lied because I was able to get it to fit. Also, the concierge NEVER said that the stairs was no viable option. This is another lie. The truth is your drivers said they could not absolutely use the stairs at all (probably because they were much older and physically unfit so this would be difficult for them. Again, I have pictures and texts). It should be noted that even when they were moving items outside my apartment the first time, they claimed that the sofa would not come out of the door because it was too big. However, I insisted that it could and persuaded them to take it out. I shouldn’t have to persuade someone to do their job.

It just goes to show that this company continues to lie and take no accountability. The movers might have been doing the business for 30 years, but they were not physically fit to do it. They had trouble even moving the smallest items. They were much older and complained all the way through. There is nothing wrong with hiring older individuals but at least hire people who will do the job professionally! Also, once the driver picked up my items, he did not respond to any of my messages or calls so much so that I had to contact the headquarters.

You in fact did not work with the Apt management to come up with a viable solution like you just claimed. Your driver from NVL left my sofa near the trash area and said there was no way they would even climb the stairs (I have proof from text messages from headquarters saying this, since like I said, the driver did not respond to my texts or calls).

Also, I submitted multiple photos showing proof of how my sofa and other furniture were damaged and the claims adjuster from NVL was also very rude and basically said there is nothing they can do even though I paid for a full replacement value. I tried constantly to reach a solution with NVL claims adjuster but they also stopped responding to my emails.

Also, this is not only about the sofa. Other items were damaged as well and the fact that the driver tried to circumvent me and make alternative arrangements to deliver my items because he wanted me to pay more is unacceptable. The blankets used to wrap my items were filthy and not all of my items were wrapped in blankets which caused other furniture to break.

Eric was also very rude to me after I signed the contract. I didn't even know that NVL would be the movers until I signed the contract and they sent me a BOL
