America's Moving And Storage ripped me off completely. I called for an estimate and gave very exact space measurements, because I was moving from a storage unit, not a house. I repeatedly gave the exact volume of the storage unit and an accurate list of the contents. I had over 80 boxes. The sales representative, Grant Hill (at least that is what he SAID his name was) quoted me just over 2000 dollars to move the contents of my 10x7x7 storage unit from Seattle to Phoenix. I have never paid for a move before, so saw no problem with that price. 2 days after they had taken the non refundable 50% deposit straight from my bank account, I got a call from their customer service to 'go over details'. I repeatedly the information I had given the original sales rep. They exclaimed 'Oh no! That isn't right!' And told me that it would cost me $1700 more dollars to move exactly what he had quoted me at $2000. I ended up only moving half my stuff and now have 2 storage unit payments for at least the next 9 months.

From the moment they arrived, the movers put us at ease. Being both efficient and careful, they managed to make the whole thing look easy.

After a stellar first experience when they emptied the truck into a storage unit, we brought them back to load it up again and then unload everything in our crib.
