Ameritex Movers Woodlands

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY. This moving company has been a nightmare. Our movers were young men who didn't speak any English, most likely illegals. They used a non-descript truck. Red flag. Their movers forgot the free TV box and 2 wardrobe boxes we were promised which caused damages to our TV. They damage multiple belongings and have the most ridiculous claims instruction policy that if you don't follow their format, you'll be denied or just denied anyway. Most of their bad reviews on the Better Business Bureau site revolve around this. I've reached out 2X to Osmara, the head of their claims department and have been ignored. The Operations Manager, Ali, was disrespectful and unprofessional when my husband called to gain clarity of their claims process. I could literally hear her YELLING through the phone at my husband. He calmly reminded her that he was just calling to gain clarity, not get adversarial. She finally calmed down where she was able to have an adult conversation exhibiting some professionalism.

Lastly, after reporting to Ameritex that one of our movers left to help some other guy who was moving out the apartment complex we were moving into, THAT MOVER, came up to our new apartment and asked to use our restroom, peed all over the floor, peed all over the toilet seat (didn't even lift the toilet seat up) and he DIDN'T EVEN FLUSH!!!! The smell of his urine left in our toilet was SO STRONG that I had to turn on the fan. He got water all over bathroom counter and mirror and then came out laughing when making eye contact with the lead crew guy before walking out.

It took 7 hours to document in the detail and format they require in order to 'properly' submit our claim. I will most likely invoice the company for my time and stress they've caused during the move and after the move.

Prose at the Pines should find a different moving company ASAP. Prior to mailing out our list of damages to Ameritex, I went to the leasing office to show them the letter being mailed and updated them on the status of our situation with Ameritex. By the reaction received, it was apparent that this moving company has been a problem with other neighboring tenants.

Ameritex's slogan, 'stress free move' is unfortunately a joke.

The movers in my crew were absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend!!
