What was promised was not delivered with our move, would not use this moving company again, despite all the high rated reviews.

The movers were great! They worked hard and were careful with all of our items. They finished sooner than the estimate. And we’re very responsive and pleasant to work with. Would definitely use Anchor again!

We moved my 90 year old parents out of their senior living to another a little over an hour away. We were very impressed with the quality of service we received from Anchor. Through all steps of the process we felt we were in good hands and received support for a move that was difficult for us to manage otherwise. Everyone was kind, helpful, professional and fun. We felt comfortable with Anchor from the beginning during the visit evaluating our items to move, through the very helpful staff answering questions on my many calls, to the move with the men on moving day. We chose to pack some ourselves like books and some knick knacks and personal items and left dishes, framed art and furniture to them. When they came on moving day, their packing was incredible, fast and safe and all our belongings arrived in great shape. We regretted not having them pack more as they were efficient, friendly and effective. We would highly recommend Anchor moving for anyone and would use them again with another move.

They quoted us $2100 and said if they add another guy for 4 guys total it would take less time and be cheaper. It ended up taking more time and more than $2100. They were all chatting in a room and we had to say something, 2 of them went to the wrong place and were late. One guy lost his clipboard and couldn’t find it for about a half hour and he was elderly and moving very slow. We paid time and a half because we moved on a Saturday and I will NEVER use or recommend this company again. They broke a table that they wrapped and it has been pulling teeth to get an answer on how they are going to address it and pay for it. Multiple glass that we wrapped and boxed were broken and my grandmas china but they stated they don’t cover anything we box or wrap. We even took a TON of stuff the night before to make it cheaper but it ended up costing almost $2400 and took longer with an extra mover! The customer service was terrible. No one was motivated to move us at all and moved at their own pace.
