If I could leave no stars, I would. I hope & pray that other people read all of the reviews before even THINKING about working with this company. My husband &I contracted this company to provide us with moving services from WA to OH . Our rep, Raul, seemed to be competent &helpful- boy were we fooled. We spoke with him, collectively, on 4 different occasions to ensure that everything was set. We were supposed to have been quoted for a full house move, including 'white-glove' packing service. Ha. White glove. The DAY BEFORE our scheduled pick-up, Todd, a quality assurance agent, called my husband & more than DOUBLED the estimate because, somehow, Raul did not include any cubic footage for boxes in our original quote. THEN, when I said there is no way we can afford the new quote & we don't want to use the service we were told we would be out the deposit we already provided because it was less than 3 days before the scheduled pick-up/move. That was over $3,300!!

It gets better- the packers arrive, one day & 3 hours late, and made a whirlwind of a mess in the home. It was far from white glove. They were there from 3:30pm until dang near midnight! As they're packing, the lead comes in & says we have an issue- we've already hit our reserved space & wants to know how we want to proceed. Mind you, there were still things that were on the inventory breakdown still in the home- including our king size mattress, living room rug, children's bedroom furniture, and all the garage items! So of course we discuss what the overage is & say we'll handle this with Raul on the next business day... Another $1000 & a huge headache later, Raul never answers or returns calls & we ended up having to throw out, donate, or leave behind things that should have been loaded. The packers, two of the three, reeked of pot, as they continually would take breaks outside and smoke. They left all their garbage all over our home.
Gets better- I end up calling for days & leaving multiple messages. TO no avail. Finally, someone answers! She forwards me to another gentleman, without telling me who, and low & behold it's the OWNER. We begin to discuss the situation & we get 'disconnected.' I call back, she patches me through & sent to voicemail! 2 days go by, when I finally get a call back from the operations manager for the warehouse holding our goods, in WA! Our stuff is supposed to be meeting us in Ohio. Raul said so! I explain the entire situation, from the 4 calls with Raul, the call with Todd, the more than doubling of the quote the day before scheduled pick up, & the fact that our belongings are in a warehouse & are now not scheduled to even be loaded onto a long haul truck for 3 more days with this nice lady. Reluctantly, she finally returns the call. She tells me the OWNER says there isn't a darn thing they can do, no discount or anything because it isn't their/his fault that the quote was messed up since it's an outside agency they contract with to provide this portion of the service!! Are you effin' kidding me!?
Man, I wish I would have just sold all of the replaceable items & bought new when we arrived because that's what we're doing any ways. Items damaged. Packers just dumped things into boxes, literally tipped baskets & bins upside down & poured them into large boxes. Our children's baby boxes, oh, they taped them together & just tossed them into the truck. They're destroyed. Picture frames- yeah, they wrapped three of them in a blanket, bound it with tape, and destroyed those too. My brand new master bedroom furniture and living room furniture, they ruined those as well. Busted pieces off my bed, scratched up dressers, and destroyed the center console on my loveseat- it's caved in. The double tagged boxes to claim more cubic footage! And left boxes half empty!

Customer service? Uh, what customer service. Once they have your items and your money, don't expect to hear back from them!

Where to begin? We hired these movers for a move from RI to FL. I had a one bed apartment, and they quoted me $1400 for the move - including break down/set up of big furniture, moving boxes up and down one flight of stairs, delivery, fuel, insurance, etc. While booking with them, Jerry asked us if a semi truck would fit in my apartment complex parking lot for delivery. We said no. He said that wouldn't be a problem, our stuff would be transferred to a shuttle before delivery.

I had no concerns, and despite the pick-up drivers being late (New England traffic, not really their fault), everything went smoothly on pick up. My pick up agent asked the same question about the semi truck on delivery, and told me to call again and tell the company a semi wouldn't fit. We attempted to call several times and left several voicemails about it. No one called back.

Finally a delivery agent called us to check in about delivery, and when I mentioned the small parking lot, she said that was a problem and there would certainly be a 'shuttle@ fee. Over a week of back and forth phone calls and emails with a manager, and they were resolute in charging us an additional $350 for the shuttle. This is despite the fact that Jerry (on a recorded phone call) told us there wouldn't be a charge. Natasha, a manager, recognized that Jerry had in fact told us that but said it was not the company's responsibility and they had the right to charge us. She even admitted he needed to be retrained, but that we still had to pay Fine.

The night before delivery, the delivery truck driver calls and begins asking me about our parking lot, how many stairs we had, etc - all information that was on our invoice but that he seemed to have no knowledge of. No one had told him our stuff needed to be moved to a shuttle, either, so he had to wait an additional 8 hours to deliver while he get in touch with the office and arranged a shuttle.

During delivery, they did not bring tools to re-build the two pieces of furniture they had broken down during pick up, and were going to leave without doing so until we borrowed tools from the maintenance man at my complex. And finally, my stuff is damaged. My white metal headboard has paint chipped on all sides; my wooden dresser has large chunks that have come off, as well as a huge patch of water damage on the top corner; and the one suitcase I sent with them (brand new) has a handle ripped off of the side. Of course, their 'complimentary' insurance policy only covers .60 cents/lb on damaged items. You should also know that while Jerry claimed they use their own trucks and drivers, our delivery drivers confirmed they were working as independent contractors...in a rented UHaul, not an Apex truck.

AVOID!! Once they have your stuff, they will charge you as much as they can in additional 'services,' (all covered in the 'contract') and damage your items.
