Do not trust these people. I had a quote and paid for a reservation to be moved. They never called for the first date to schedule the pickup, so I called them. They then told me that there was an issue with the driver and it would have to be my fall back date. I waited again to have them call me and they didn't, so I called them. I was supposed to have a call back from representative, which never happened. On the fall back day, I had not received conformation on a time, so once again I call them. They tell me THEY DON'T HAVE A TRUCK TO MOVE ME AND AREN'T SURE WHEN THERE WILL BE ONE IN MY AREA ON THE DAY I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MOVED! Called and they said I can wait for a truck to be in the area, put my stuff in storage and when a truck becomes available they will get it, or find another company to move me. What a joke. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THESES PEOPLE! They claim to be the highest rated relocation company and cater to military, well I just had the worst experience with them to find out both of those statements are complete BS!
In a middle of a move right now. They will hound you to death for your business, emails, phone calls daily. As soon as they have your business, POOF!! They disappear. I could not get basic questions answered from the original person CLINT, the operations manager responded once and said he apologized and it should not happen again. When CLINT was wining and dining me, I am moving from NY to FL, he told me more than once that is should take no more than 2 -3 days for delivery, they do tell their customers it can be up to 10 days, but and I quote 'it is their bread and butter route' so 2 -3 days should be no problem. Well yesterday when the movers showed up and I had paperwork to fill out, WHAT A SURPRISE, it was another company!!! They told me Apollo Moving contracts out their moving. NOT AT ANYTIME did APOLLO tell me that on the phone. The movers also told me that in no way would they meet the timeframe that I was told over and over my CLINT from APOLLO, They also told me they tell their customers up to 21 days!!!!! But probably could make it by next weekend, probably!! I start my job on the 4th. I would have never planned things the way I did if it hadn't been based on what I was told by APOLLO. OH, and they say their quoted price does not change! Well that is a load of crap as well. The movers that showed up had paperwork that additional charges for pounds as they weighed the truck empty and after they loaded the truck they would weigh it again and I would be responsible for a certain amount over, additional packaging material etc. THIS IS ALL STUFF I WENT OVER WITH CLINT AT APOLLO, AND EVEN CALLED THEM AND ADDED MORE STUFF SO THEY KNEW. I CAN NOT IMAGINE WHAT MY BILL IS GOING TO BE AT DROP OFF.
STAY AWAY FROM THEM. THEY WILL SELL YOU TO DEATH AND THEN UNDER DELIVER IN ALL WAYS. OH, BUT THEY ARE AVAILABLE WHEN THEY WANT THEIR PAYMENT!!!!
78 complaints filed against this company! Do not use them!!!! Out of 12 lights I had shipped 2 were completely destroyed 3 are broken and will need to be repaired while the bulbs of every single light arrived smashed. I called for one month and did not receive a single callback with an ETA. The lights switched hands 3 times and each time I was given a new number of a new driver from a different carrier. I was told over the phone I would have my lights in 10 days and assured they were the 'best company around.' The woman even dicuraged me from using another company who was able to match their price. The better business bureau has 78 complaints filed against this company and yet somehow they have not been shut down. I was told over the phone to take my claim up with the carrier that this is 'not our responsibility.' Well, here is the bad news...This order was for a major TV show and it's not my responsibility to refrain from telling 8 million viewers the name of the company that I was dealing with and the reason the kitchen we renovated on TV has no lights. Sorry
If i could it give it zero stars I would. Apollo is not moving company rather its a brokerage service that subcontracts your belongings to another moving company. They did not return phone calls or reply to emails once a deposit was given, we tried calling for three weeks because we wanted to confirm pick up date and load size. No reply, not even an email, and wound up paying $500 more to a mover for unexpected boxes. We could've avoided the cost if they called back or returned our countless emails. We were told it was the holiday season and staff is limited and thats why they couldn't return our calls. We asked for a receipt from Apollo, didn't receive one. Had damage to our property, we were told Apollo doesn't handle that and to contact the moving company. Asked for a reduction of the overage charges due to not calling back, didn't get that either. Not even an apology for poor customer service We will not be using Apollo services again.
