At Your Service Professional Movers

Just wanted to share my experience with this co. About 5 yrs ago I was supposed to move into a house. It was all arranged & I contacted this company to move me, & put down a deposit. Well, the bottom fell out on my move through no fault of my own. This company refused to refund my deposit money. I don't care that it was in a clause I hadn't noticed. I just think it's wrong to keep somebodies hard earned money. It wasn't like I didn't give them plenty of notice (weeks!) that my move wasn't happening, and it wasn't my fault that the move fell through. Long story short, I was still trying to find somewhere else to move and was on a waiting list and they said they would hold my deposit until I found a place, but nothing was opening up for me. This company called me and gave me grief about not having set a new moving date yet. They were down right rude & nasty about it. I couldn't very well set a date if I still hadn't found a place to move to. I eventually lost my deposit. I would never ever choose them to move me ever again just based on their policy of no refund for deposits & also for their unprofessional and rude attitude.

FYI - I was just recently informed that it's illegal for moving companies to take deposits in Florida.
