This man named “Kenneth” kept calling my phone over and over again after repeatedly being ignored as I wasn’t able to talk. When I got agitated and told him to stop calling he continued to call incessantly. His text says untied movers however the email he sent me had this company attached. I’ve attached photos to the business page. Harassment is not the way to earn someone business.
Andy, Chad and Jordan, were amazing. Their customer service was top notch.
Requested a quote, someone came to my home and looked over our place. He was very nice but a week went by and nothing happened. No phone call or email. Husband calls and tries to figure out what is happen and he gets told to call our “auditor” again. Calls him and he said oh a quote went out but doesn’t say to who or how. Then he rushes off the phone to say he’ll call back and never did, hours later we try to call and he doesn’t even answer.
Don’t even waste your time.
We were told our stuff would arrive in 5-7 days and it took weeks. If I had been warned it would have taken so long I would have packed differently.
I ordered a truck and 3 men several weeks ago. I told them it was a one bedroom, not a lot of stuff and in Silver Lake.
Tody, the movers showed up with the biggest truck Ive ever seen. That can can fit everything for a 4-5 bedroom house. We look around, I suggest some things on where to park.. the movers say that they can't double park because the ticket would be as much as moving for me. They didn't try backing in to a lot, and suggested that we call back in and get a smaller truck. I reluctantly said ok.. I NEED to move this weekend as I will NOT be in the apartment next weekend.
The mover calls in to the office and says the soonest they can get a smaller truck is Monday morning. They don't mention anything about price or this visit etc. I assumed that it was all taken care of, the rate would be the same and that Monday was reserved since they called into the office. Without trying any maneuvers or attempting my ideas, they leave.
20 minutes later, I get a call from the front office. The man.. named William maybe, aggressively says 'I hear that you sent my men away. And now you want to move on Monday? What's this about??' I was flabbergasted. The man then aggressively informed me that HE has to 'pay his men every time they are dispatched' and implied that it was MY fault the movers left and that I should know that I have to pay for both today AND Monday at a 4 hour minimum (about $500) despite no moving happening.
I did not politely respond, and hung up on him.
How do professional movers hear 'Silver Lake' and think 'Ill bring the largest truck in our fleet?' I gave them all the information they needed to bring the appropriate truck! I went to U-Haul, got a 15' truck and everything fit perfectly why did they bring a behemoth?!
While 'problem solving' the crew basically stood around chit chatting, as it's the customers dime.. seems like they hire out instead of in-house and are incentivized to take longer and even pull shady moves like rescheduling and not informing of double charges.
When I moved into that same apartment two years ago, I called a random number on the side of the road for two movers who didn't have a company name and I got efficient, professional service with nice people who did what they needed to do to get my stuff moved quickly. I use a 'Brand Name' moving service that charges two to three times as much and get screwed. I would rather use the men who hang outside the U-Haul center!
I'm also having trouble finding them on Social Media now! They identified themselves as 'Let's Move It' but the van said 'Atlas Van Lines' and all the 'Let's Move It' Yelp and Google listings are different and some are closed.. almost as if they are trying to move away from bad reviews!
